The dreaded boss battle arena and the sheer size of the boss add another layer of grimness and tension to the fight, making it imperative to come prepared and stocked on essential items to defeat the boss.

The Congregator Of Flesh Boss Attack Patterns
The Congregator of Flesh is not an optional boss in Lords of the Fallen. He is encountered right after you exit theVestige of Olleron, interact withThehk-Ihir merchant, and walk over a makeshiftbridge that breaks, falling you inside the boss battle arena.
One of the basic attacks Congregator of Flesh boss does is itssingle hit hand slam. This is a very slow attack, but theintimidating boss’s sizecould confuse dodging at the right moment. As a result, a delayed dodge will result in massive damage.

We recommend pressing the dodge button or rolling out of the harmful situationjust as the hand is about to hit the ground. There is a few seconds delay between the charging of the attack and releasing it. So be mindful of it.
Another common attack the Congregator of Flesh boss does repeatedly is thearm swipe attack. Using theleft arm, the boss charges ithorizontallyand unleashes the strike in front of him. Similar to the first attack, this, too, hasdelayed release time, so timing the dodge is imperative.

Otherwise, it is very easy to get struck by the boss’s attack, resulting in the loss of a significant chunk of your character’shealth bar.
Placing yourself at the back of the boss to land a few hits must be done carefully. Staying there for too long will trigger the boss’sback throw attack, wherehe throws himself to the groundto squash you like a bug.

This attack pattern can be easily identified as the Congregator of Flesh boss firstleaning ahead for a second or twoand then throwing itself straight to the back.
Similar to the above-mentioned back throw attack, the Congregator of Flesh boss occasionally will do the same bythrowing himself on sides. This usually happenswhen you begin assaulting hisright or left legconsistently andstay in one placefor far too long.

Again, there will be a subtle hint that the boss is about to trigger this attack, giving you enough time tododgeand get out of the tough situation.
When the boss’s healthdrops at or below 50 percent, he willaggroby screaming. During this phase, the Congregator of Flesh boss will introduce another move byjumping on the ground and doing aslam attack. This moveset releasespoisonin asmall radiusthat slowly builds up your poison bar.

If the poison meter fills up, the poison status effect will trigger andwill consistently eat your character’s health. The best course of action will be to bring poison resistance items before the fight to counter this effect during the boss battle.
Drawing too much distance from the Congregator of Flesh boss will bring another attack pattern into the fight. The boss causes ashockwave that releases a poison wavein a straight direction to you.

This can be avoided byrunning out of its rangeor rolling into it so as not to get any damage at all. If struck, your character will takephysical and poison damage.
Lastly, when the Congregator of Flesh boss goes into theaggro state, he will also do acharged mouth dash attack. This attack hastwo variations. First, if the boss is very far, he will first do ahand smash attackand then immediately land thecharged mouth dashat you.

Second, if the boss is very close to you, he will instantly charge hismouth and trigger the attackwithout the hand smash.
Sometimes Congregator of Flesh boss will grab the player using the charged mouth dash. If he does, he will chew on the player and could potentially eat away all health.
