Not only does she move fast and hit hard, but the fight has two separate phases with the second part being particularly tricky and a bit of a pain to deal with. But beating her comes with some nice rewards so it’s worth busting this ghost. Here’s how to beat the Nightweaver in Remnant 2.
How To Find The Nightweaver
Anoptional bossthat you can easily miss if you’re notfollowing the side questfor it, the Nightweaver is ashrieking phantomthat haunts and hunts inthe Asylum in Losonm. You’llsee shadowsof her andcatch glimpsesas you prowl through the halls to get to the next location, but if youstick around in this worldand starthunting for a particular itemyou’ll be able to take her on.
Her fight is pretty brutal andtakes place in a Nightmare Realm, but here’s how you can unlock it. First, head tothe Shattered Gallery, inside here you’llsee the Nightweaverbriefly feeding on thecorpse of one of her victimsbefore she zips away. On the body will bethe Soulkey Tribute. This item can beused on the web in the basementof the Asylum toenter the Nightweaver’s realmto access the boss fight.

How To Beat The Nightweaver
The Nightweaver is areal damage checkthat can steamroll you easily if you’re notquick on that evade button. She fights you at first in theoutside yard where you encounter the Ripsaw mini-bossso the arena is not the largest but you can stilluse some of the obstacleslike trees and fences to keep her at bay for a little bit orblock projectiles.
We’ll go into deeper detail momentarily. Thefirst phase of the Nightweaver is the easiest, but it’s hersecond phase where things get a little frustratingand spooky. Not only does she get herhealth bar topped back upagain, butthings get shifted indoors. After taking her down the first time, abrief cutscene will play outand you’ll betransported inside the Asylum.
This is now your arena and the Nightweaver willfly in and out of the walls, floors, and ceilings to attack or escape from gunfire. Often she’llappear right underneath youor from a wall next to you beforehiding nearbyandspawning a huge wave of exploding spiders. Thankfullyshe is a lot sloweras she moves around. Though she isquite tanky. Somake sure to pour on the damage, avoid the ambushes andshe’ll fall eventually.
Becausethe Nightweaver is a boss, certain elemental attacks likeSLOW won’t freeze or slow her down, so useBURNorSHOCKinstead toadd extra damage numbersto her.
First Phase
Here’s a deeper breakdown of thefirst phase of the Nightweaverso you know what to expect when you wander into her realm. First off, herattacks in this phaserange from an incredibly damaging anddifficult-to-dodge charge, to spawning a fewspider minions, summoninghoming crystals, AOEsplash attacks,and a painfulclose-range smack.
Theprojectiles can be blocked with treesand have aslow tracking curveso you can walk around them. Herspiders are weakand can be shredded with gunfire easily, but it’sthe charge you’ll need to watch out for. She’lltelegraph it with a roarand aflail in the airof her claws,keep some distancebetween you and her, thenjust roll out of the wayto the side. The chargetracks in a straight lineso once she commits, justget ready to move.
Once you wear her down,she’ll fall to the floor. If it’s your first time fighting her,walk up to the Nightweaver to trigger the cutscene, but if you’ve done this part alreadythe second phase will just immediately startregardless of where you’re standing in the arena.
Attacks
Ice Projectiles
Four floating balls of ice will be summoned that will head to your location.
The Nightweaver sweeps across the arena in a charging lunge.
Energy Balls
A grouping of dark energy balls that have splash damage will fly out from the Nightweaver’s chest.
Spider Summon
Lifting her arms, the Nightweaver will begin summoning spiders that explode on contact. The first phase features three, the second phase has a near-constant stream of them.
Second Phase
This isthe part where things get annoying. The Asylum isthe Nightweavers hunting groundand she canmove through the surfacesof this arena like a shark through the ocean. She’llemerge in short burstsand when she does she’llcrawl towards you, or a specific person in your group, andstart clawing at them. She cantake a lot of damagein this phase, but she doesmove a lot slower,and sometimesthe pathing has hiccupsso you have a lot of opportunities todump damage.
You have alarge areato engage her in, but honestly,thebest spot is the main hallwhere you spawn in. There’slots of open spaceaway from walls that theNightweaver can ambush from, and you canloop her around the stairsfor easy damage opportunities. Aside from herphasing ability, the other main threat is whenshe goes off and hides.
It’stelegraphed by constant shriekingand her running asfast as possible awayfrom you. Once the Nightweaver does this she willhitch herself to a surfaceand will start pumping out anungodly number of spiders. These arequick to dieand you canattack the Nightweaver, butthe minionsshe’s droppingshould be your priorityas they can quickly overwhelm you.
Including the bugs, the Nightweaverwill also use her first-phase attacksagain.
After taking her down you’ll berewarded with Nightfall, a long gun with aspecial Weapon Modcalled Nightmare Realm whichgives the semi-auto rifle a fully automatic mode, infinite ammo, andlife stealvery briefly. Plus, it alsocloaks your character,with the invisibility buff disappearing when you attack.
You can thenleave the areaback the way you came. Although,make sure to pick up the Dreamcatcher melee weaponfrom the webbing in the cell. You’ll need touse the Stone Statue of the Nightweaverfrom the cell after completing theStone Statue sidequest.
If youtarget the Nightweaver’s Heartwhen she pulls it out inboth phasesyou’ll earn theNightweaver’s Finger. Which can be turned into theNightshade melee weaponthat comes with theBeyond The Veil Weapon Modwhich turns you into mist when you evade, gives a 5 percent base damage boost, andprovides life steal all for five seconds, but itsduration can be increasedwith perfect dodges.
