To get the Dramatic Moment in this fight, you’ll need tolet your Hype drop to negative ten, thenlet Pipe Dream break out of your pin. This may seem challenging since Striking, using Gimmicks, and Taunting build your Hype, but you have a few techniques to help you drop it.
First, you shouldstrictly heal with itemsas using them will cause your Hype to drop slightly. Even though you’ll build some Hype by attacking, you’ll need to get Pipe Dream’s health low anyway, so start to take him down.
You caneither use Muchacho Man’s South of the Border Stunnerfor tons of damage in a burst, or you cango with Spice So Nice to give you consistently strong Strikes. Either way, you want to keep fighting Pipe Dream, healing with items as needed, thenget him to the Fallen state.
Once he falls, immediately break him out of the Pin,which will reduce your Hype by 25. On your next turn, knock him down again and repeat this until you complete the first task.
Once that happens, you’ll get a cutscene, and you canlet him break from another Pin to complete the Dramatic Moment. You’ll know you got it once a humorous scene involving chairs plays.
How To Defeat Pipe Dream
Pipe Dream’s main attack is Pipe Line, where he performs two hits on you. However, you canavoid the second hit by performing the action prompt. He’ll also throw you against the ropes at times, so rely on your reactions to deal extra damage.
Otherwise, you just keep fighting him using your Gimmicks until you take him down. This time, complete the Pin to win the match.
