Fatalities… what would Mortal Kombat be without them, right? Without those violent, exciting, and ridiculous set pieces that can take place after the fight is over — is it really over, though? However, you may find yourself wondering how to do all of them.

As it has been the case in the previous entries,Mortal Kombat 1has the second Fatalities of all your characters hidden, making it pretty difficult to perform them without knowing the correct input. Fortunately, you can unlock said input and see it inscribed in the Move List, making it always ready for you to hit pause and check what you need to do.

How To Unlock Every Second Fatality

It’s important to understand thatyou can actually do every Fatality in the game without unlocking anything. The thing is, what you “unlock” is the input: the combination of directional inputs and the last button you need to press. The Fatality by itself is already unlocked in the game.

To make that input appear in the Move List in the Pause Menu,you need to reach Mastery Rank 14with the character whose second Fatality you want.

Every Fatality In Mortal Kombat 1 And How To Do Them

Getting to the aforementioned rank with every character can be quite grindy, so that’s why we have createda table with all the Fatalities you’re able to perform in the game and their inputs. This way, you will be able to do them right away.

Remember that to do a Fatality, first you need to win the fight, making your opponent’s HP reach zero in the quantity of rounds you are playing. A sign saying“Finish Him” or “Finish Her”will appear on screen, and here’s whereyou need to quickly press the commands before the time runs out.

Fatalities havedifferent distancesat which your character needs to be from your enemy:Close, Mid, and Far. You need to press the correct sequence of directions and buttons at the correct distance for it to work.

If you need help figuring out the distance of a Fatality, you’re able to go tothe Learn sectionof the main menu and selectthe third option, related to Fatalities.

Fatalities are performed in the same way on every platform. The only thing that changes, logically, is the last button. This list will use the PlayStation input first, then the Xbox command, and finally the Switch one.

Every Kameo Fatality In Mortal Kombat 1

Kameos can also perform Fatalities. The way you perform them is the same as with your Fighter: you press a combination of directional inputs and a button.

The two key differences are that the button will always bethe Kameo buttonand Kameosonly have one Fatality.
