Whether you are at the Family House, Slaughterhouse, or Gas Station, there are always four exits on each map. Some will require certain additional parts to activate, and some will leave Victims exposed and easily seen. Here is a breakdown of each exit.

There is amain road at the edge of each propertythat functions as an escape route. The road is protected by anelectrified cattle grid, which is hooked to agenerator. Vibrant cables run from the grid to its power source.

Johnny looks at an open driveway out to the main road, a red light shows the electric barrier is off.

This is theeasiest exit from each match, as it only requires turning off the generator and then making a break for it. Once you reach the main road as a Victim, youcan run either way to escape. Victims also don’t need to worry about having any specific items to exit here.

Of course, thegenerator has to be turned onat the start of the match by the Family in the first place. Thegenerator will have a loud audio cuewhen it’s running, which can help you locate it when you need to. If it gets turned off, it can beturned back on again after a short cooldown.

Rear Gate Exit

Much like the name suggests, therear gate exitis found at theback of each property. If you look forlarge gate posts around a fence, you’ll be able to find thelocked gateleading to this exit.

This gate can also beelectrified by a nearby power source, zapping anyone who tries to touch it. Like the main road exit, power cables will run along the groundto be hooked up somewhere nearby, usually acar battery.

Johnny looks at the car battery in a run down car, which powers an electric barrier to a gate.

Victims will need to bothturn off the car battery and unlock the gate, but should be careful. The rear gate exit is an open area, giving nearby Family members adirect line of sight to you. Plus, there will sometimes bechickens nearby that can alert the Family to your presence.

Pressure Valve Exit

The third exit is linked to awater pressure tank, which can open alarge metal gate leading to an escape routeon the exterior of each map. This exit requires a few different steps and parts.

Victims wanting to exit this way willfirst need to find the valve handlethat is hidden ona pipe somewhere on the map. You’ll need to take it off andadd it to your inventory. You’ll then need tofind the actual water pressure tankin a different location andattach the valve handle there.

Steam will begin shooting out of the pressure tankto signify that it is working, which isa visual cuefor both the Family and Victims. It will takea bit of time for the pressure to build up, but will eventually causethe gate to open temporarily for Victims to escape through.

Family members can alwaysclose the pressure tank while steam is pouring out of it, forcing Victims to begin the waiting process again. Victims will need to turn the valve handle at the tank again to get it to work.

Ana attaches the valve handle to a pressure tank in the basement.

Fuse Box Exit

The final exit might be the most difficult out of the four. Deep in the basement isa heavy metal doorwith “Keep Away” and “High Voltage” signs. However, opening it up will take multiple steps and require multiple parts.

Opening the door will requirethe fuse box to be fixed, which islocated somewhere above ground on the map. Victims will haveto locate the fuse itself firstand put it in their inventory. This can be almost anywhere and is found onan open circuit board with a small light on it.

Julie looks at a dimly lit metal door with “high voltage” signage.

Thefuse will need to be taken to the fuse box, which can then bebroken open by using a tool.

Repairing the fuse box meanssolving a small puzzle.Match the fuses by colorfrom your available options. Victims will need to do a bit of math tomake sure the correct voltage is being supplied in each pair.

Johnny stands in a dark room, looking at a fuse on a circuit board on the wall.

After successfully finishing the puzzle, the basement door will open for a period of time. During this time, the Family can find and shut off the fuse box. Luckily for Victims, if this happens, you can justgo back and turn on the fuse box again.

Make sure toknow where the basement door is first before repairing the fuse box, so you don’t waste precious time running around trying to find it.

A fuse box opened up shows different colored fuses with different voltages that can be used to complete the puzzle.
