The Stripeshell Snail is a bright purple and pink snail that was originally used as currency, and while the Majiri of Palia uses Gold now, its rarity still makes it valuable.

What Is The Stripeshell Snail?

TheStripeshell Snailis a Rare rarity insectfound only at Bahari Bay.They drop betweenzero and sevenSilk Threadper capture.

Standard quality versions sell for 120 Gold, while Star quality ones sell for 180 Gold,making them a decent profit generatoreven if you only find a few. A single, standard-quality Stripeshell Snailis required to complete the Beach Bundle in the Vault of Waves, which also counts for several accomplishments, such as My First Rare Bug and Expert Bug Catcher.

Where To Find Stripeshell Snails

Stripeshell Snails aretime and location-specific.They can be found along thecoast of Bahari Bay between 6pm and 3am,showing up at locations such asBeachcomber Cove, Coral Shores, andLighthouse Lagoon.

These snails move in astraight, running pattern in one directionbut are relatively slow even after being alerted, so bothSneaky Smoke BombsandSticky Smoke Bombswork wellagainst them.

They can bedifficult to spotdue to their coloring if they’re in the water.

However, Stripeshell Snails, just like other snails,make a squelch-like sound every few seconds, so listen out for it to locate them more easily.
