As you progress throughDave the Diver, you’ll be tasked with catching specific fish for various requests and missions. For one of your VIP missions, Michael Bang wants you to cook up a new dish, and that includes hunting down some Coral Trout.

Coral Trout can be easily overlooked as they’re a smaller fish that don’t pose any threat to you, so you’ll often swim right past them, completely oblivious. However, if you’re struggling to find out where they are, we’ve covered it all for you right here, as well as information on the other ingredients you’ll need for this VIP mission.

Where To Find Coral Trout

Coral Trout are onlyfound during the dayat depths of50-130m. They’re quite small, so they’re easy to miss, but just keep an eye out for their red flash of colour as you explore.

Keep an eye out for other aggressive fish nearby that may attack you while you’re on the prowl for Coral Trout.

How To Catch Coral Trout

Coral Trout are very easy to catch. You canuse your harpoon, or evenyour knife,as they’re so small. You certainly won’t need any upgrades or special weapons.

If you want to catch 3-star Coral Trout, you can simply use a net gun to catch them completely undamaged.
