FortniteChapter 4 Season 3 ushers in an exciting adventure set in a lush jungle biome, complete with temple ruins, dangerous foliage, ferocious raptors, grind vines, and more. And what does any good adventurer want when exploring temple ruins? Why hidden treasure, of course! With nine temple vaults (four large and five small), there’s plenty of loot to be had.

However, first, you have to unlock the doors. So strap up and get ready, you will need to be armed with a little knowledge and a lot of luck to fight your way through the competition and get your share of legendary jungle loot.

What Are The Four Large Temple Ruins?

These ruinscan have multiple locked chambers, each with doors that require a different method to unlock. You’re going to need to stock up onRare,EpicandMythicweapons to get into these vaults.

To open a locked ruin vault door and get to the treasure within requires you to engage in one of three types of action:

Rumble Ruins, Southeast Ruins, Hidden Cliff Ruins and Northern Ruins: Fortnite

The doors can only be unlocked once per round by any player, meaning if a door is unlocked by a player in a round it will thereafter be unlocked for every player in the round.

Entry Requirements

This vault entrance islocated on the bottom floor facing the far western wall. There’s only one locked chamber atRumble Ruins.

There will be a colored glow emanating from the doors indicating the type of weapon you need to sacrifice to unlock the door.

For example, if the door is glowing purple, a weapon ofEpicvalue will be needed to gain entrance

You can also sacrifice a weapon of greater value, but you can expect indignant outrage if you attempt to give the door a weapon of lesser value.

Locked Temple Ruin Doors and Statue in Fortnite: Southeast Temple Vault

This temple ruin is locatedsoutheast of Rumble Ruins. You can find the vault entrance inside the temple ruin at the bottom of a stairwell on the ground level.

This temple ruin has three locked chambers, with the entrance door glowing with the color of the weapon you need to sacrifice.

After sacrificing your favorite best weapon, you’ll be rewarded with weapons of equal or greater value.

The next door to unlock requires solving the fire puzzle byidentifying the correct sequence of lit or unlit fire braziers. This can be done by trial and error or by replicating the fire brazier sequence found in a nearby room.

You still have another door to unlock before getting the loot. To unlock the next door, you will need tochoose correctly between two statues.

The correct order is randomized, changing from round to round.

Pick the correct statue, and the door will open; pick the wrong statue, and you’ll be launched into a rift that puts you into the sky above the temple.

At this point, you can either fly onward or straight back down to finish the job.

The vault entrance is built into the bottom of a cliff locatedNortheast of Rumble Ruins.

The entrance can be foundthrough an archway at the bottom of the cliff, and like the vault doors at the entrance atRumble Ruins, this door will glow with a color that indicates the minimum quality of weapon you must sacrifice to unlock the doors.

After you’ve gained access to the inner chamber, you’ll find another locked door at the far side of a wooden plank that extends over a large hole in the temple floor.

Be careful crossing the wooden plank, as a fall from that height will kill you.

This door glows gold, andyou must sacrifice a Mythic weapon to unlock it. The next door will be a fire puzzle door, with the last doorrequiring you to choose the correct statue.

This temple ruin is located across the jungle,Northwest of Rumble Ruins. The vault entrance is located on the front-facing side of the temple at ground level, and you will have tosacrifice a weaponto get in.

Inside, you will be presented with four sets of stairs. Be careful here, this is a maze, and if you choose the wrong set of stairs, you may get lost or worse - trapped in a storm.

To avoid wasting your time and side-stepping any unpleasantness,choose the second stairwell from the left.At the top of the stairs, turn right and go up the next level of stairs. When you reach the top,go left and take the leftmost set of stairs.

When you reach the top of the stairscontinue straight down the halluntil you reach the room at the far end, where there’s another locked door with anask the statuepuzzle. This time there are four statues to choose from -if you choose incorrectly, you will be sent skyward with a rift.

The correct order is randomized, so it’ll change from round to round.

Once you’ve located the correct statue and unlocked the door, there will be one more locked door to get through; afire brazierpuzzle. You’ll have to bust out your awesome fire brazier puzzle-solving skills to open this door.

How To Find And Solve The The Five Small Temple Ruins

These five smaller temple vaults are each convenient for accessing a single legendary chest or launching into the sky via a rift. Unlocking the small temple ruins is relatively easy,requiring only that you ask the correct statue.

Once again, the correct statues are randomized and vary from round to round.
