Although most of your time inGhostrunner 2is going to be spent jumping around levels, grapple hooking onto walls, and slicing enemies into ribbons, that’s not the only thing that you’ll be doing in the game.
While exploring Dharma City and beyond, you’ll also be trying to find various different types of collectibles, ranging from awesome new swords to swing around to skins for the new motorbike you’ll be spending most of the second half of the game with. The type of collectible you’ll be finding the most, however, are Artifacts, as there are 21 of them in the game.

What Are Artifacts
Anyone who played the first Ghostrunner is likely already very familiar with Artifacts, but for those who aren’t, they’re essentially bits of world-building lore that can be found throughout levels. You’ll know you’ve found one thanks to the glowing question mark symbol that can be seen spinning around.
Although Artifacts are hidden around most of Ghostrunner 2’s levels,it’s worth noting that they’re actually always shown on the mini-map when you’re near them. The challenge comes from making sure to keep an eye on that mini-map at all times, and then figure out how to actually reach the Artifact itself. Who needs all that, though, when you’ve got this guide? Let’s walk you through how to find every Artifact in Ghostrunner 2.

Artifact 1 - Recruitment Flier
The first Artifact in the game can fittingly be found inGhostrunner 2’s very first level, Uninvited Guests. After you get to the part where you fight three enemies at once,go into the building and you’ll get a tutorial about parrying.Do that and then turn to the left to follow a path upwards to the Recruitment Flier. You’ll see it sitting on a pile of yellow crates.
Artifact 2 - Energy Drink
The second Artifact that can be found in Ghostrunner 2 is theEnergy Drink, which is also found in Uninvited Guests. After getting through three enemies and being taught how to dodge using the Sensory Boost, you’ll ride three drones in a row and reach a trainyard area. There are several Artifacts here, but the first one can be seen to your right sitting on top of some crates.Just head over there after dealing with the enemies to pick it up.
As soon as you jump off of the third drone before this Artifact, immediately look right to see it sitting on some crates directly ahead of you. Make sure to deal with the enemies first though!

Artifact 3 - Alternate Currencies
Hope you didn’t move on too quickly from the room you were just in,as Ghostrunner 2’s third Artifact, Alternate Currencies, can be found in the exact same area. After dealing with the enemies, make your way to Artifact 2’s location and then look straight ahead to the stack of crates near the green graffiti. Simply climb these crates and then grab the Artifact. One of Ghostrunner 2’s easiest ones, for sure.
Artifact 4 - Tarot Cards
After collecting Artifact 3, you’ll ride some train rails and get taught how to block projectiles.Your next tutorial will be how to dash through walls, leading you to a combat room.As soon as you break through the wall, look up and you’ll see the fourth Artifact, Tarot Cards, behind a fence.
As ever, ensure to get rid of the enemies, and thengo underneath the fence area to see a wall, pictured above, that you can run to get up to platform. Then, just dash through two more obstacles to get this Artifact.

Artifact 5 - Grilled Rat Meat
After reaching the first big enemy arena following the introduction of air vents(you’ll know you’re in the right place when the game informs you where to find Challenges), clear it out of enemies. Then, from where you spawn you’re going to want to head to the upper right side of the map, where you see a bunch of crates stacked on top of one another. Simply slide under the hole in the crates and then climb up to grab this Artifact.
Artifact 6 - Video Tape
The next three Artifacts in Ghostrunner 2 can be found in The Hacker’s Den. This level is one of the first in Ghostrunner 2 that opens up a bit, offering you a few paths to go down first as you try and hack three terminals. Once you get told to look out for three terminals, ride the rail to the lobby of the area.
You’ll notice a boost pad pictured just to the left of when you reach the lobby. Activate the boost pad in the building next to it, and then use it to get to a higher level. Follow the path forward until you reach a rail, which will lead you to the top of a building. Run across the billboard until you see this building opposite a laser gate. Go through the vent and fall down it to get this Artifact.

For the sake of this guide, we recommend that the first terminal that you hack is the one that requires you to leap around the digital world with low gravity. It’s also found right near the first Artifact, so it just makes sense.
Artifact 7 - Ghostrunner Miniature
To get to the next Artifact, you’re going to need to head to the second terminal. To do this, use the boost pad to reach the roof again, but go left to unlock the laser wall. Then, follow the path and use a shuriken to get past a locked door.
You’ll enter an enemy arena so, as always, clear them out. Then, head towards the cracked wall that’s on your left as you enter the arena and dash through it. Then, get past the lasers by timing your movement to get this last Artifact.

Artifact 8 - DIY Toy
After beating the second terminal, which has you popping orange balloons with your shurikens, you’ll find yourself heading over to the third and final terminal, which is located in an area called Cornucopia. Once you get to this area, you’ll ride a ton of grind rails and have to fight enemies at the same time. Eventually, you’ll reach a room where you jump off the grind rails and hop between walls. As you hop off the last wall, turn to the left to see this Artifact. Otherwise, you’ll have to find a way to turn around mid-rail, which can be hard.
If youdomiss the jump and have to turn around on a grind rail, the best way to do so is by jumping and holding Sensory Boost long enough to get yourself facing the right way.

Artifact 9 - Mask of the Arcane Sacrifice
After that open-ended bunch of Artifacts, you’ll be happy to hear that we’re back to linearity for a bit with the next few.Artifact 9 can be found in Behind The Curtain. Towards the end of the level, you’ll unlock the Phantom skill, which lets you create a ghost of Jack that can be used to distract enemies and for certain light-based puzzles.Simply put the Phantom in front of the light beam that’s located to the left of the structure pictured above(which you’ll actually see just before getting the Phantom ability).
