InPaleo Pines, you’ll meet several kind characters who’ll be helping you search for other Parasaurs and make Veridian Valley your home. One of these characters is Owynn, a friendly but rather clumsy scientist who tends to be better at research work than field work. Still, he does his best outside his office, but sometimes things go wrong.

He’s lost his quill, and you’ll have to do a bit of detective work and help him figure out what’s happened to it. In this guide, we’ll show you just who to talk to for information, so you can get Owynn his quill back and receive a rather delicious reward for your dinosaurs.

How To Start The Quest

This quest becomes available to unlockafterinvestigating the blocked Dapplewood pathandtaming a Styracosaurus.

Doing so willunlock several more questsrelated to the various residents in Veridian Valley andafter completing The Eve of Discoveryfrom Owynn, his next quest will beFind Owynn’s Quill.

Speak to Owynn, and he’ll inform you about his missing quill, and not have a clue about where he last left it. To progress, you’ll need toask some of the residentsabout it.

Who To Ask About Owynn’s Quill

Head toPebble Plaza,andspeak to Pippinfor the first clue about the quill. She’ll direct you over to Marlo next, saying he might have an idea of where it is.

Speak to Marlo, and he’ll recall seeing Mari hand off something toGranny Agami. Locate Granny either inPebble Plaza, or her home in Dapplewood if you’ve unlocked it, andspeak with her.

Turns out, Owynn lost it while he was out and Marigave it to Granny Agamifor safekeeping. She’llhand over the quill to you, and now you can return it to Owynn.

How To Finish The Quest

Head over to Owynn andspeak with him again. Owynn spendsmost of his day near his house, but for abrief period in the afternoon, he can be found inPebble Plaza.

He’ll thank you for returning it to him and give youone of three rewardsdepending on your choice:Potatoes, Bell Peppers, or Strawberries.

As Potatoes are easily obtainable from Corlan or by purchasing Potato seeds from Granny Agami,Bell Peppers or Strawberriesmake the better choice for a reward, since youcan’t get their seeds yet.
