The I’ve Seen That Face Before main job comes at an important part of theCyberpunk 2077: Phantom Libertystory. The plan to take down Hansen and acquire the Neural Matrix is in place. However, you need to do a bit of set-up before you can put the plan into action.
The main bit of prep is getting your disguises, which is the main objective of this quest. This doesn’t mean you can just go down to the local store and put on some Halloween costume to hide your identity. These disguises are more advanced and harder to acquire. This is how you do it.
Find The Vantage Point
You begin the quest bycalling Reedto tell him the procedure you had in the last job is over.
He then asks you tofind a vantage pointnear the entrance to Dogtown so you may spot the siblings' car. You don’t have a choice of vantage point. There isa specific one you have to reach.
It’s justsoutheast of Dogtown’s main gate.In fact, it’s directly above where you had the procedure in the last job.
When you get near the spot on the map, you willnotice some scaffolding. You mustclimb it to reach the vantage point.It’s fairly easy to climb. You just need to do a bit of jumping.
When you get to the spot looking over the street,hit the ‘wait’ prompt.
Identify And Intercept The Netrunners' Car
The reason you’re at this vantage point is so you canidentify the netrunners' car.It will becoming from your right.So,scan every vehiclethat comes from that direction.
It will take a bit of time to arrive, butwhen you’ve scanned the right one, the game will let you know.It’s a car with yellow racing stripes on top.
Then, you must intercept the car. Yet, this doesn’t mean chasing it down. Shortly after leaving the vantage point,Reed will tell you the car has stopped.
This is when you need to go to it. It’s justdown the road inside a parking lot beneath the street.
Take Over The Car
When you find the vehicle,hop in the trunk to let V jack into the car.From here, you need tocycle through the vehicle’s different cameras.
If your intelligence is high enough, you can tweak some thingsto make the next part easier.
Eventually, the twins will return to the car.
After they talk for a bit, you willget the chance to take over the vehicle.You can listen to them talk for a bit longer, but you will need to start controlling the car at some point.
Once you do,a hostile Netrunner will attempt to remove your control.This is indicated bythe depleting ‘Ice Integrity’ bar at the top of the screen.You need todrive to the meeting point marked on the mapbefore it reaches zero.
If you tweaked things earlier when you first hacked into the car, you will get an extra bar that has to be depleted for you to fail.
There’s no trick to this bit. Youjust need to drive as fast as possibleto reach the meeting point.
When you get there, Alex and Reed will execute the twins.
Talk to Reed for a bit, then grab andequip the Netrunner suit that is hung up next to him.
Next, go over toAurore’s body (Alex’s victim) and download the access codes from her.
Finally, get in the car andactivate the behavioral imprint once the opportunity arises.Then, finish the conversation with Alex tobring the quest to a close.
