One of these conditions is having all your ship parts attached somewhere as long as they’re on the screen. Failing to do this leads to the ‘Ship has unattached modules’ error. Thankfully, there are a few easy ways to find and fix this issue.

Ship Has Unattached Modules Error Solution

The ship has unattached modules error occurs when you’re in the Ship Builder mode whiletalking to one of the Ship Service Technicians or using a Landing Pad at your outpost. This can be seen when you’re trying to save your changes to the ship but the Flight Check option shows an error.

Keep in mind that you can save any changes as long as you see Nominal or Warning here, but you won’t be able to do so if you see Errors. To fix this error, you simply have to either attach the module back to the ship or delete it. An easy way to locate the module is by bringing your cursor to any of the parts on the ship and double-clicking on it.
