InLords Of The Fallen, you’ll encounter various locked paths that demand specific methods to access. Some can be opened from the opposite side, serving as shortcuts, while others require the use of your Umbral Lamp for entry. A few simply need a standard key.

Once you reach the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers for the first time and begin exploring the area, you’ll encounter two locked doors that impede your progress. Unlocking these doors calls for Abbot Vernoff’s Key, and fortunately, you’ll find the key in the same location.

How To Get Abbot Vernoff’s Key

From the locked door requiring Abbot Vernoff’s Key,head back and take the stairs upward. Upon reachinga fountain,take a left turn, and you’ll spotanother set of stairs.

Ascend them andenter the building on your left. Inside,take a left, and thenenter Umbral realm.

In Umbral realm, you’ll come acrossan Umbral ladder. Climb it andexit the building. Follow the path untilyou reach a set of wooden stairs. Ascend them, andto your left, you’ll seesome wooden boxes.

Dodge through themand follow the path, leading you into a roof building.

Inside,you’ll find a wooden bridge. Cross it andlook down to spot a platform resembling a crosswhere you can safely descend. From there, you’ll seeanother platform you can jump to.

Continue to the end of this path by traversing the wooden platform, and thendrop down to the lower level.

The final step is to jump down to the room resembling an altar. Head to thealtar in front of you, where you’ll findAbbot Vernoff’s Key.

With this key in hand, you’ll be able to unlock the two doors leading to theTower of Penanceand theAbbey of the Hallowed Sisters.
