Some ingredients inDave the Diverare rarer to find than others, and one of these is Cuttlefish Skin Fragments. As you progress through the storyline, you’ll need to find some Cuttlefish Skin Fragments, so you’re going to need some decent luck and a little information on how to get them.

To track down this elusive ingredient, you’ll first need to find some Cuttlefish, so here’s everything you need to know about how to find and catch them, as well as some tips to increase your chance of scoring those fragments.

How To Catch Cuttlefish

Cuttlefish can only befound during the dayin theBlue Hole Medium Depth of 50-130m. They’re usually found in small groups and are easy to spot because of their pale bodies.

Cuttlefish will try and swim away from you and will even release ink to defend themselves and block your vision.

As they are small, they can be easilycaught with very little effort by harpooning them or using your knife. You just have to avoid their ink attack and any potential nearby predators that might get in your way.

However, if you want to catch 3-star Cuttlefish, we recommend using a Net Gun or Tranquilizer Gun to catch them unharmed.

How To Get Cuttlefish Skin Fragments

Cuttlefish Skin Fragments arerandomly found upon catching Cuttlefish, and you’ll see it pop up on the left of your screen if you successfully find some. They are rare, so unfortunately it’s just a matter of grinding away and catching as many Cuttlefish as you can to get the fragments you need.

It’s believed that 2-star and 3-star Cuttlefish have a higher chance of yielding skin fragments, so try and catch them without damaging them to increase your odds.
