Once you beatPikmin 4, you unlock Olimar’s Shipwrecked Tale, which is a throwback to the first Pikmin game. While this game mode is a ton of fun for all Pikmin players, it can be challenging since you must collect 30 parts in 15 days. This is twice as fast as the first game with even larger constraints, though you have Moss to help you.

The hardest part is planning ahead and determining the best order to complete everything. After all, you’ll need plenty of Flarlic and the various Pikmin types to cover all your bases, making it crucial for you to know where everything is. As you take advantage of this guide, you’ll complete the tale and can use your knowledge to perform better in the main game.
All Ship Parts In The Sun-Speckled Terrace
You’ll need tostart in this areaof the game, whichyou can do all in one goif you don’t want to visit the other areas yet. However,Blue Pikmin will make it easier.
How To Reach It
Second Base
Go to the starting base. Travel northeast, thenfollow the wall south of you. You’ll travel southeast until youfind the Yellow Onion to the west. Once you do, head south to activate the second base location.
Third Base
Begin at the first base and travel southwest. You’ll find it to the south, but there’ll be an enemy that prevents you from taking it. To defeat it, throw your Pikmin when it breathes in through the blowhole, then throw them onto the weak point.
Part 1
Go to the starting base and head north,toward the northeast corner. Once you do, head south, and you’ll find it. You can easily dispatch the enemy here.
Part 2
Begin at the second base and travel southwest anduse Yellow Pikmin to reach it.
Part 3
You’ll need at least 25 Pikmin. Go north of the first base, past the bench.Throw Pikmin onto the bagto the west. You’ll go through it and head north. Build a stick and use it to get the part.
Part 4
Go to the previous part and travel east. You’ll go south once you reach the wall and canthrow Pikmin at the yellow enemy on the web. Once you defeat it, it’ll drop the part you need.
Part 5
Begin at the third base and run to the water to the northwest. You’ll then go south of there and find it on the ground.
Part 6
Return to the water from the previous part.Build the bridge and go across it to find a boss. It’s relatively easy to beat since you just have to throw Pikmin at it, knock the enemy down, and rush it with Moss if you have her. You’ll then get the part.
Part 7
This one requires Yellow Pikmin. Go east, underneath the bridge, then follow the path to the next bridge. Throw your Yellow Pikmin to bring it down. Go across it and travel east. You’llfind another web similar to Part 4, so defeat the enemy and nab the part.
Flarlic 1
Head northeast of the starting area. You’ll pass a pile of materials to the west, andyou’ll find multiple mushrooms. Destroy them using your Pikmin, then have them dig up the Flarlic to collect it.
Flarlic 2
Go to the starting area. Travel north and go over the spot where you broke down the bag.Travel north until you pass the wall to the west, then travel west until you reach a wall.
Head south, and you’llfind a large fire-breathing enemy. Defeat it, go north, and get the Flarclic out of the ground by using Pikmin.
Yellow Onion
Travel south of the first Flarlic, thenfollow the wall south. As soon as you reach the opening, travel southwest to find it buried in the ground.
All Ship Parts In The Blossoming Arcadia
This next area will not only help you find parts but alsoget Blue Pikmin and Moss, so make this area a priority.
Travel east of the first base anddrop to the area below. Follow the wall while going southeast and you’ll find it.
Go northeast of the second base until you reach the mud. You’llgo to the north portion of the mud, then travel east to find the base.
Part 8
Travel north of the first baseuntil you see the metal gate to the east. Go through it and throw a Red Pikmin onto the fire. Take it south, then go west to enter the opening andthrow the Pikmin at the hayto get to the part.
Part 9
Go northeast of the second base until you reach the mud. Follow it east, and look south to find a wooden box with the part in it.
Part 10
Return to the mud area and head north.You’ll find a point with a sprinkler, so send in Blue Pikmin to get it.
Part 11
Travel south of the second base andbuild the bridge to the east. Go up it and head north to a stone wall.You’ll need to use three bombsfrom your pack to break it open. Defeat the fire enemies with Red Pikmin, then use Yellow Pikmin to get the part.
Part 12
Follow the northeast path from the second base.Once you reach the firepit, go southeastto find the part. An enemy will appear that you’re able to easily defeat by tossing Pikmin at it.
Continue south from the previous partto get this one.
Part 14
Travel east from the third base. You’llgo north when you reach the walland find an enemy with four long legs.Throw Yellow Pikmin at the circlein the middle to defeat it and get the part.
Flarlic 3
You’ll travel north of the first base. Once you reach the farthest most point to the north,go east, and you’ll find it in the ground.
Flarlic 4
Begin at the second base, thentravel south to build a bridge with raw material. Go across and you’ll find it to the southwest.
Moss
Return to the base, thengo east until you find the fire pit. Travel northeast, and you’ll find a bridge. Use materials to build it, then travel across the bridge. You’ll find Moss to the northeast.
If you got the Yellow Onion in the previous area,this one is optional, but gives you some extra Yellow Pikmin. You’ll start at the third base, traveleast until you reach the wall, then go south to find it.
Blue Onion
Return to the second base. You’ll go to the fire pit you used to get the first part of this area.Take it to the fire pit to the south and activate it. You’ll then build the bridge south of the fire pit. Throw a Red Pikmin onto the fire pit, then follow the west wall while traveling south.
Once you do, you’llgo north and throw the Pikmin at the hay. Doing so will reveal the Blue Onion, and you may get it once you pull it out of the ground.

All Ship Parts In The Serene Shores
This isa water-focused area,making it crucial for you tobuild up your Blue Pikminarmy before going here.
Travel south from the first baseuntil you find a bridge to the west. Build it, cross the bridge, then continue east until you reach the wall.Head south and you’ll find the base.
Travel northeast from the base, thengo south when you reach the water. Make your way up the slopes until you get to the top. You’ll encounter a large boss here that you must defeat to access the base.
You’ll defeat this boss bywaiting for it to shoot out its tongue, then you’ll throw Pikmin at it and charge with Moss when you can. The boss will also perform a roar move that scatters all your Pikmin, soquickly whistle at them to get them to return.
Once you defeat the boss, you can access the base. You can also use your various items from your pack to make the fight easier.
Part 16
Go through the northwest entrance near the first base. As soon as you do,travel southeast to reach an area with water. You’ll find an enemy here, so throw Pikmin at it to quickly take it down and secure the part.
Part 17
This one is east of the first base, on an island. You’ll see it right away and can dig up the part.
Part 18
Go south of the first base and head west to the bridge.Build the bridge, go across, and head westuntil you reach the wall. You’ll then go northeast and find the part in the sand. You shouldtake down the hopping enemy with some Pikminbefore you get the part.
Part 19
Begin at the previous part, and travel south. Once you go past the divet in the walls, you’llimmediately go east up the slope. You’ll see a clam that you must defeat, so throw your Pikmin at it.
Only let them attack for a second or twothen call them back, so they won’t get killed. Keep it up until you defeat the clam, and you’ll get the part.
Part 20
It’s the part dropped by the boss you fight to reach the third base. Follow those instructions to get it.
Part 21
Start at the third base and travel east. You’ll need to use Raw Materials to build this wall. You’ll thenclimb it, continue east, and find the part.
Part 22
Return to the first base andgo east until you’re away from your base. You’ll travel north, enter the water, and go east. Follow the path and you’ll find an enemy in this area.
You just have to throw your Pikmin at the boss’s eyes. Once you do, it’ll reveal the weak point, allowing you to take it out and get the part.
Part 23
Simplyhead east of your base and keep going until you enter the water. Continue east to the end of the water, and you’ll find it on a platform.You must use your Blue Pikminto bring the part back.
Flarlic 5
Go south of the base, then make your way west to the bridge.Cross it and go north, following the path. You’ll reach the Flarlic and need to use Yellow Pikmin to get it.
Flarlic 6
Start at the second base and head north.Once you see the opening to the west, head that way and enter it. You’ll reach some water, so go to the southern portion of it.Throw Pikmin onto the suspended Flarlicto get it down.
Flarlic 7
Go to the third base and travel northeast tohop down to the area below.Travel north and drop to another area, then travel west until you see the Flarlic.Throw Yellow Pikminthere to get it.
Flarlic 8
Begin at the previous Flarlic, andgo northeast to drop down a floor. Travel north until you reach the water, then make your way east tofind it under the water.
Start at the second base and go northeast. You’ll eventually find a cave under the slopes you use to reach the third base, andit has the Blue Onion. If you collected the other Blue Onion, this’ll just give you Pikmin.
All Ship Parts In The Hero’s Hideaway
This area only has two bases, so it’ll be incorporated into the first part of this area, since you need to activate it to get the part.This area doesn’t have any Flarlic or Onionseither, so only focus on the parts.
Part 24 and Second Base
This is similar to the game’s tutorialand isn’t timed, so just find the 100 Pikmin, then go up the table to fight the enemy. You’ll wait for it to launch four spike attacks, then charge into it with Moss. After that,attempt to pick up the part, then travel eastto find an enemy.
You’ll need to throw Pikmin at it to knock the gold off the enemy.You can destroy the gold if you wish, but aim at the weak points. Return to the part and have the Pikmin begin to carry it.
Head north of the table, around the couch, and use the fan to get past the two steps. Use your Pikmin to create ramps by pushing off the objects. You’ll thengo northwest to activate the baseand have the Pikmin take it there.
Part 25
Start at the second base and go southwest.You’ll find a hole in the wall, so enter it. Walk south across the shelf and take the floating platform down.
Throw a bomb rock at the enemyand attack it with Pikmin when it flips over. You can then go past it for a part.
Part 26
Begin at the second base andtravel north then east around the kitchen island. You’ll continue east and find a hole on the ground. Break it open with Pikmin and enter it.
You’llenter the sink to the south and use Blue Pikminto retrieve the part.
Part 27
Start at the previous part and travel south.Use your Yellow Pikmin to destroy the fence. You’ll then use Yellow Pikmin to take out the enemy here and grab the part.
Part 28
Begin at the last part, andgo to the southeast corner of the counter you’re on. Use the platform to fly down to the area below. You’ll find the part in the safe.
You can defeat this enemy bythrowing a bomb rock at itfollowed by Pikmin when it flips over.
Part 29
Return to the part you collected from the sink.Head northeast and use Raw Material to build the bridge. Climb up, go west, and you’ll find the part. If the spider enemy steals it, simply throw Pikmin at it.
Part 30
Begin at the last part andtravel to the southwest corner. You’ll use the platform to fly down, thengo west and press the button. This’ll activate the fan to the west, so hop onto it.
Go to the southern portion of the counter. You’ll encounter a boss that shoots missiles, so run around it in a circle until it stops. Once it does, throw Pikmin at it,call them back when it shakes them off, and repeat until it’s dead, giving you the final part.
What Parts You Should Get On Each Day
If you want a general guide to help you get through the game, you canfollow these steps to get all the parts in the requested time. This setup isn’t meant to be optimized, but to help you get all the parts in the time limitwithout rushing you through the experienceif you want some flexibility. For example, you can easily finish the Hero’s Hideaway in two days if you know what to do, so feel free to collect more parts in a day.
However,ensure you get two parts on the first day, then stay in Blossoming Arcadia until you get all the Pikmin types and Moss, so you can go through the rest of the mode without backtracking.
