Secrets abound inSuper Mario RPG, and not just the ones found while completing the main quest. As you would hope to discover when playing any RPG adventure, there are also plenty of side quests and collectibles to find and enjoy as you explore the Mushroom Kingdom and collect the Star Pieces.
If you like to challenge yourself and are looking to complete every objective in the game, then one of the things you’ll need to do sooner or later is find the Fireworks. Read this guide to learn where the Fireworks are and what you can do with them.

How To Buy The Fireworks The First Time
you’re able to get your hands on some Fireworks byreturning to Molevilleafter exploring the Mole Minessince you won’t be able to find them beforehand while the town’s residents are busy trying to clear the mine. After you’ve finished your quest in the mines, they will return home.
The Mole you want to meet with is the adultresiding in the home northwest of the town’s shop, and once you speak with him,he will offer to sell you the Fireworks for 500 coins. The high price will be worth it in the long run, but you might want to wait and save your coins if you’renot too far into your adventure yet.

If you have progressed enough and this is a return trip to Moleville, you should take the deal to procure your new pyrotechnics.
Now that you have them, you’ll be disappointed to discover that you can’t do anything with them, asthis set of Fireworks is a single key item, rather than something you can use inside or outside of battle. However, the letdown will be short-livedonce you figure out what to do with them.
How To Buy The Fireworks Again
After buying the fireworks from the Mole man, head outside to find and speak with a young Mole girl who isstanding by a pair of crates next to the home you were just in.The young Mole is running her own shop of sorts, the Pur-tend Store, and she has a Shiny Stone for sale.
The catch is that she doesn’t want regular coins or Frog Coins for them, instead, she wants some Fireworks. Help the young girl play out the fun of running a storeby trading her the Fireworks for the Shiny Stone.
Now that you have the Shiny Stone, you can eitherhead to Monstro Townand inspect the strange door thereto access the optionalboss fight with Culex, or you cantrade the stone to another girl in Moleville for a Carbo Cookie. For our purposes here, you’ll want to trade it for the cookie.
Go into Moleville’s item shop and speak to the girl in the back corner, totrade her the Fireworks in exchange for a Carbo Cookie.Head back outside to the town’s northwest corner,to find another Mole girl sitting in a bucket, and she’ll want to trade you something for the Carbo Cookie.
However, after you give her the cookie she won’t hold up her end of the deal, apparently because she lost what she was going to trade. At this point, she’ll get out of the bucket and leave, andyou must jump into her bucket to have it warp you to the Midas Waterfall,to play a mini-game.
After you finish the mini-game, return to Moleville to perform the entire trading sequence a second time, but this timethe girl in the bucket will give you the item she promised earlier, a Frog Coin. The trading sequence is now complete, but you can repeat it multiple times if you wish.
Repeating the trading sequence will unlock a special Easter egg at the end of the game, where fireworks are used during the game’s end credits, and the form they take will depend on how many you boughtduring your adventure.
