Collecting mounts is one of the most popular endgame activities inFinal Fantasy 14. Showing off your rare mounts to your friends and Free Company members is one of the greatest joys of being a Warrior of Light.

Some mounts are rarer than others, and some require dozens of hours of dedicated raiding to acquire. Apocryphal Bahamut is one of the rarest mounts in the game, requiring you to get the mounts from every Extreme Trial in the Endwalker expansion. Below, we’ll take a look at where these mounts drop from, and how to complete the ‘Wings of Hope’ quest to get Apocryphal Bahamut.

How To Unlock Apocryphal Bahamut

Before you may get Apocryphal Bahamut, you need togather all seven Lynx mountsearned fromExtreme level 90 Trials. Check the table below for more information.

All of these Trials are unlocked through the quest’I Wandered Sharlayan as a Minstrel'. Speak to theWandering Minstrel in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7, Y:14.3)to unlock each of them. You’ll need tocomplete the normal versionof each Trial before the Extreme version becomes available.

Wings Of Hope Quest

Once you’ve collected all seven Lynx mounts, return to Old Sharlayan and accept the quest’Wings of Hope’fromSingingway (X:11.5, Y:10.3). This quest will only appear after you have all seven Lynx mounts.

After you’ve accepted the quest, simply follow the objectives until you blow theApocryphal Horntosummon Apocryphal Bahamut in Mare Lamentorum. After this cutscene, you’ll receive the Horn from Singingway, and you’re able to unlock Apocryphal Bahamut.
