InAssassin’s Creed Mirage, there are plenty of swords, outfits, and costumes to collect. Most of these gear pieces involve exploration of the world, finding hidden chests, and reaching them. However, there are many instances where you will see a gear chest inside a room through the Eagle vision, but there will neither be a clue nor a hint about how to enter this room.
One such room that houses the rare gear chest is found at Qasr Salih. The chest is found at the top of a room, and reaching it requires many stealthy maneuvers.
How To Reach The Qasr Salih Gear Chest
Qasr Salih is a well-guarded fort that contains arare gear chestfor Basim to loot. Plenty of ways exist to infiltrate and reach thetop floorwhere a room contains the gear chest. Entering by hand-to-hand combat will bring inmore heat; therefore, a subtle and stealth approach is recommended here.
Approaching the fort from thewest sidewill give Basim easy access to the Qasr Salih fort. It is because the west side of the fort is whereBaghdad’s inner city wallruns through, which is higher and allows easy access inside the fort.
Climb the smallhouses' roofnear the fort’s west side. Once there, plenty ofwooden platformswill connect to another house’s roof that has wooden boxes, allowing convenient access for Basim toclimb upand reach theinner city’s wall.
Approaching the Qasr Salih fort from thewest sideis the best course of action, as there are no patrolling guards or archers.
After reaching the top of the inner city’s wall, run along until you reach a point where agrassy platformis seen. Jump on that platform or the brick structure near it, then move forward andparkour all the wayto the top of the building.
Using the Eagle eye vision here will reveal that the Qasr Salih gear chest is inside the room. However, approaching the room’s door will reveal that it is barred from behind.
Therefore, the next course of action here is to reach the rooftop andtake out the marksman. Aweak structurein the roof’s ceiling will be visible, giving a subtle hint that access to this room is possibleby breaking it. However, none ofBasim’s toolshave the tendency to break the ceiling and enter the room whose door isbarred from the inside.
How To Break The Weak Structure
to enter the room and acquire theQasr Salih gear chest, the best course of action here is to find anexplosive potand throw it on the roof’sweak structure. This will easily break the weak integrity of the roof, giving Basim easy accessinside the roomwith the gear chest.
To find theflammable pot, look below where you assassinated the marksman on the rooftop. A guard and a few flammable pots can be seen there. Take out the guard, preferably with the stealth approach without raising alarms, thencarryany flammable pot.
Approach the rooftopfrom the right, where a couple ofwooden boxesare aligned at the top of each other, giving a convenient path for Basim to Parkour and reach the rooftop. Once there, aim while holding the flammable pot andthrow it on the weakroof’s structure. Throwing it will immediately burst the roof with flames after the explosion, breaking the hole wide open.
