Hidden throughout each of the worlds ofRemnant 2are several secret weapons that provide immense power, but are equally as challenging to get. Some of these weapons are only available on rare generations on certain worlds, meaning uninformed Travelers may miss them completely.

The Pulse Rifle is a Long Gun found on N’Erud that fires a powerful burst of three rounds that can quickly deal with enemies from afar, and is one of these secret weapons. Below, we’ll take a look at the steps you need to take to get this weapon, as well as how to get the two items you need for it.
Check The Ascension Spire
The Pulse Rifle is found beneath the Custodian’s tower in N’Erud. As you approach theAscension Spirewhere theCustodianis found, look at thefirst statue on the left. There is a hole behind the statue that you can drop down into.
The Ascension Spire can be found in theAbyssal RiftandPhantom Wastelandlocations of N’Erud. Look for the giantstatue holding a glowing white orb.
In this hole in the Ascensio Spire, you can find theDryzr Replicator merchant, where you can buy a number of useful Rings.Look to the right of the merchant for an elevator, then take this elevator down into the area below.
In this area, approach the purple console. To get the Pulse Rifle, you will need to unlock the door behind this console using two items, theDecorum Cipherand theMemory Core II. This means that there willneed to be two open slots on the consoleto put in these items. If there are zero or one open slots, you’ll have toreroll your worldand try again.
Quest items don’t carry over when you reroll your campaign, so if you only have one slot available, there is no point in continuing if you want the Pulse Rifle.
Reroll your world campaign until the console has two open slots. This may take a few attempts to get, but once you have two open slots, you will be in a world that has access to the Pulse Rifle. Now, you’ll need to gather the two items mentioned before.
How To Get The Decorum Cipher
The Decorum Cipher can be found in theTerminus Station dungeon. This dungeon can be found in any of the four open world N’Erud maps:Abyssal Rift, The Eon Vault, Phantom Wasteland, and Timeless Horizon. Remember, if your console has two open slots, the Terminus Station will appear in your world, so just keep searching until you find it.
At the Terminus Station, you’ll need tocomplete the train event. To complete this event, you haveseven minutes to kill every enemy in each train compartmentas you move further down the train.Robot Gruntsare the main enemy that appear during this event, in bothnormal and shield-wielding variations.
Once you make it to the end and complete the train event, you’ll arrive in aroom with a checkpoint. At the checkpoint,crouch under the cables to the rightwhere there is a chest. Continue under some more cables to a ladder, thenclimb up into another room.
In this area, there is anopening to the train below. Drop down here and into thehatch into the train, where you can get the Atom Smasher melee weapon and theDecorum Cipher.
How To Get The Memory Core II
The Memory Core II is found in theDormant N’Erudian Facility dungeon. This dungeon is also found in any of the open world N’Erud maps, listed above.
To complete this dungeon, you’ll havesix minutes to kill every enemy in the area. This mainly consists ofParasite enemies, including the variation that shootspoison globsat you. Additionally, you’ll have to fightthree Elite enemiesthroughout the time limit, which is most often thelarger Parasite enemythat uses sweeping claw attacks.
Fight your way through the facility until the quarantine is lifted, then go to thecurved bridge area of the map. There will be apart of the railing that is broken, allowing you todrop down to the ledge below. Follow this path to anelevator, then ride up to a small room. Continue forward until you reach a console with theBiome Control Glyphon it.
Grab this item thenhead back to the checkpoint at the start of the dungeon. Near the checkpoint, interact with thelocked doorand use theBiome Control Glyphto open it. Inside, you’ll find the Toxic Release Valve Amulet and theMemory Core II.
How To Get The Pulse Rifle
Now that you have the Decorum Cipher and the Memory Core II,return to the Ascension Spireand once again drop into the hole behind the statue. Take the elevator back down, andinsert both items into the console. You can put the keys in the console inany order.
With the door unlocked, head further into the chamber to obtain theCore Booster Amuletand thePulse Rifle.
