Ryujin Industries is one of the many Factions that you can work for inStarfield, and this one is a corporate business that got popular because of their research in Neuroamps. When you first get recruited by this company, you’ll have to perform a few smaller tasks to prove your worth.
Once Imogene sees your potential, she’ll take you to Ularu during the Top Secrets quest. Ularu will give you the task of dealing with one of her informants and getting the required information from him, but she won’t give you enough Credits to carry out the task.

How To Deal With Simon Ryczek
When you first talk to Ularu, she’ll make it clear thatshe doesn’t want to lose Simon as an informant. She’ll also give you 1,000 Credits to carry out the deal, but it won’t be nearly enough. After talking to Ularu, head over to Cydonia on the Mars planet and follow the blue marker to locate the informant.
Strike a conversation with Simon and he’ll mention that “Galactic Raiders are the number one pick for the Universal Championship this year” at some point. As soon as he says that, you’resupposed to reply with “Razor derby is the only real sport” since this is the code word. Choosing the right option will continue the quest.
Simon will mention that the information he has is very importantso he has increased the price. You’ll have three options to deal with this situation:
Of course, the fastest way to progress this quest is togive him the money since you won’t have to do a task for him. Although, this task can get you a cool weapon if you follow a specific path. When you choose the option to help him with the side job, he’ll tell you that a person named Malai Liskova is after him.
He’ll ask you to kill her and bring her gun as proof if you want to get the information for free.
What Should You Do With Malai Liskova?
Simon might’ve mentioned that there’s no way Malai would intentionally give away Ember (her weapon) to anyone,but there’s always a way for the main character. After talking to Simon, head over to Saturn’s orbit and The Datura will automatically hail at you. Choose thefollowing options for a non-violent outcome:
After choosing these options,Malai will ask you to board her ship if you want the gun, and she’ll also promise to not harm you. However, that will change as soon as you talk to her. At this point, you can choose the following options if you don’t want to kill her:
Of course, you may always press the Attack option to bedone with all this quicker.
If you choose the violent approach, make sure youboard The Datura and take Ember from Malai’s body.
How To Acquire Ember Pistol
You’ll get the Ember pistol from Malai no matter which option you choose. If you Persuade her successfully, she’ll give it to you, andyou can just find it on her body if you have to defeat her. Once you have the weapon, take it back to Simon and tell him that you held your end of the bargain.
As you’re about to hand over the gun, he’ll say that you can keep it andhe just wanted to see it as proof of Malai’s demise. With this, you’ll get to keep one of the best pistols in the game with a bunch of great mods already applied to it.
How To Get The Datura Ship
It might be easy to get the Ember pistol in Starfield, but getting The Datura won’t be so easybecause of the moral decision that you have to make. There are a couple of ways to get this ship:
Once you start piloting the ship,you’ll have to register it if you want to keep it for a long time.
If you kill Malai after Persuading her to give you Ember,your companion might dislike your actions.
How To Get The Project Dominion Files
After getting the information from Simon, head over to the Notes section of your inventory and look at both the new items. On one of the items, you’ll be able to see Stanley McMillan’s schedule. This personsits on the computer where you’ll find the required files that you have to steal, so this schedule is important.
Head over to the blue mark after interacting with the two items and depending on the local time, you might find Stanley sitting there. If that’s the case, sit on any nearby chair andskip time until it’s between 11:00 and 13:30 or after 17:00. Simon will get up and start leaving when the time is right, and you can hack the computer.
Take the files back to the Ryujin Industries headquarters and the quest will end after a bit of dialogue.
