Blasphemous 2offers up three different weapons for you to play around with, each differing in two main qualities: speed and power. While the dual rapiers are speedy and weak and the sword offers a balance between the two, Veredicto, the flail, offers a slow and steady outpouring of firepower that is hard to beat in terms of satisfaction.

You’ll have to obtain all three weapons at some point in the game as they all provide you with a way to get around and solve platforming puzzles. If you didn’t pick Veredicto as your starting weapon, you’ll have quite the vertical trek before you get your hands on it.
Where To Find The Flail
Before you start looking for the flail, you’ll need to unlock a movement abilityunderneath the City of the Blessed Name. Make your way through theProfundo Lamentodungeon until you obtain theIvy of Ascension, which lets you cling to certain walls and climb up them. Once you have this, return to the city and head to the left.
You will now be able toclimb the wall to the left of the Prie Dieus, reaching the Aqueduct of the Costales. This area is quite brutal, requiring you to make a twisting path to reach the top-left, which is where your goal lies.
Follow one rule of thumb in the Aqueduct to make your way forward:head up as far as you may go, and then to the left when possible. If you cannot go left, try heading up andto the right.
Eventually, you’ll reach the platform stairs that lead to theSacred Entombments, where you’ll find your prize.
Once you reach the Sacred Entombments,follow the directions below to find Veredicto(alternatively, watch the video underneath for a demonstration).
Once you have your shiny new weapon, you’ll be able to solve this dungeon’s puzzles by striking the seals on the sandy contraptions. The first one to strike is found just outside the room you found the flail inside.
