Armored Core 6continues the familiar pattern of difficulty seen in FromSoftware games. While this game differs from the Souls series you might be accustomed to, it still presents a challenge. So, you’ll need a combination of skill and patience to make your way to the final missions of the game.

FromSoftware has a tradition of including the Moonlight Sword in almost every game they create. So, it’s not surprising to see it featured in Armored Core 6. This time, it’s considered one of the most potent melee weapons. However, keep in mind that it’s a late-game weapon which means you’ll need to make significant progress in the game before you can acquire it.
How To Get The IA-CO1W2: Moonlight Light Wave Blade
You can obtain theMoonlight Light Wave Bladeduring the “Reach the Coral Convergence"mission in chapter 4.
To reach this point, you need to progress quite far into the game.
When you start this mission, you will find yourself in an area with numerous ruins.
Head north as your initial goal is to defeat two enemies:V.VI Maeterlinck and G3 Wu Huahai.
These two foes can be somewhat challenging, sofocus on defeating one before tackling the other.
Once you’ve dealt with both of them, a new quest mark will appear.
Make your waynorthwest from this location until you encounter a bridge. Check the picture below for reference.
Cross the bridge to its end, and look downward.
Here, you’llspot a container guarded by Autonomous Grinder Wheels. These enemies can be annoying, so consider maintaining a flight stance while dealing with them.
After defeating these enemies, loot the container to obtain theIA-CO1W2: Moonlight Light Wave Blade.
If you’d prefer to avoid the enemies, you may quickly loot the container and boost your way upwards.
While you might feel relieved that this phase is done, the most challenging part lies ahead.
You must finish the mission by defeating the level’s boss, IB-01 CEL: 240. This boss is often regardedas the toughest in the gameso be prepared.
Once you successfully complete the mission, you’ll be able toequip the Moonlight Sword from the Assembly.
If you exit the mission after getting the Moonlight Sword, you will not have access to it.
IA-CO1W2: Moonlight Light Wave Blade Overview
The Moonlight Light Wave isa strong melee weapon that has high damage and can hit enemies from a distance thanks to its light beams.
It has two attack patterns that includea two-hit combo when used normally, or you cancharge it to deploy a wide light wave that can damage multiple enemies at once.
