The Rising isFinal Fantasy 14’s annual celebration marking the fall of the red moon Dalamud and consequently the rebirth of the game’s new and improved A Realm Reborn version. This year marks a special occasion, as it’s the 10th anniversary of A Realm Reborn. As such, the festivities are in full swing this year.

The Rising 2023 starts today and will be available until the release of patch 6.5. After that, you won’t be able to complete the quest or get your Rising Phoenix mount, so be sure to take care of everything you want to do before then. Now, here’s everything you need to know about the Rising event.
‘Siblings Rising’ Walkthrough
To start the quest, head to Ul’dah - Steps of Nald (X:10.1, Y:8.7) and speak toKipih Jakkya. You need to be level 15 to accept this quest.
Gather information from the following three sources:
Go to the Goldsmiths' Guild Aetherite and talk to theWandering Minstrel (X:11.2, Y:11.4),then head back toKipih Jakkya (X:11.1, Y:9.0)and speak to her.
Next, teleport to Black Brush Station in Central Thanalan, and speak toKipih Jakkya (X:21.1, Y:18.6). After the cutscene, you’ll be teleported back to Ul’dah, in front of the Wandering Minstrel. Speak to him to start another cutscene. Talk to Kipih Jakkya after the cutscene to finish this quest.
‘What Drives Us’ Walkthrough
Begin the next quest, ‘What Drives Us’, by talking toKipih Jakkya (X:11.2, Y:11.4).
Head to theSapphire Avenue Exchangeusing the Aetheryte of the same name, then talk toNhagi’a Jakkya (X:14.2, Y:11.0).
Go to the Quicksand, near theAdventurers' Guild Aetheryte, then talk toNhagi’a Jakkya (X:11.4, Y:9.4), which will start a cutscene. After the cutscene, talk toNhagi’a Jakkya (X:11.1. Y:9.0)again.
Next, head back to theGold Courtand talk to theWandering Minstrel (X:11.2, Y:11.4).
Find theLetter with a Blue Chocobo Drawing at (X:11.4, Y:10.8). You can interact with the other two items (Letter with a Chocobo Carriage Drawing or Letter with a Quill Drawing) if you want.
Take the letter toNhagi’a Jakkya (X:11.1, Y:11.3)and give it to him. Then, go to theWeavers' Guildand speak toNhagi’a (X:13.2, Y:12.5)to start a cutscene.
After the cutscene, head back to theRuby Road Exchangeand talk to theWandering Minstrel (X:10.8, Y:10.2)to begin a cutscene. At the end of the cutscene, you’ll receive theRising PhoenixWhistle and ten Nymeia Potpourri consumables.
Letter Forest
After completing the quest, you can speak to theLetter Forest Tender (X:11.3, Y:11.4)at the Gold Court to read letters from various members of the development team.
Kupo Kupo Adventure
By speaking toNonora (X:10.6, Y:8.2)at theRuby Road Exchangeafter finishing the second quest, you can play the Kupo Kupo Adventure mini-game. This mini-game is a block-breaking style game where you launch balls at enemies to destroy them before they reach your side of the map.
The Rising Vendor
Speak to theRising Vendor (X:10.5, Y:8.6)to purchase a variety of items. TheOrchestrion Rollsandare new items this year.
