Like a lot of life-sim games, you’ll have a large variety of materials to use, find, and craft with, but there’s no punching trees or grabbing bugs up by hand inPalia– if you want wood, bugs, or fish, you’ll need a tool to get them. From cutting trees to growing crops, tools are one of the most important mechanics in the game, and you’ll be using them all the time.
