With Mirabel inDisney Dreamlight Valley, every day is magical. However, there are still a few problems in the village that this Madrigal cannot solve on her own. She knows what family troubles are like and wants to smooth things over between Donald Duck and Scrooge, but things didn’t go according to plan.

As ruler of the valley, it’s your job to help out. Mirabel needs your assistance to make things right again and bring peace to one of the families in the village. It involves a little bit of everything, like digging, befriending animals, and cooking delicious desserts.
How To Unlock The Meddling Mirabel Friendship Quest
Before you can begin this quest, there are a few prerequisites to be met first. You must haveunlocked Donald Duckandcleared the path to Dazzle Beach. You also must reachlevel seven friendship with Mirabel. Once these conditions have been met,talk to Mirabelto begin the quest.
Mirabel will fill you in on what happened: sheplayed mediator between Donald and his uncle and it backfiredspectacularly. She’ll summarize the incident but ask you toget more informationfrom the pair before continuing.
Talk to Donaldto hear a wild tale of how he fought off a vicious monster and fell into the river.Talk to Scroogeto find out that his preciouscash register key was lostin the chaos, probablytaken by raccoons in the Forest of Valor.
Head back andspeak with Mirabelagain. You’ll need to help her resolve the situation. To do that, you’ll need tofind the cash register keyandcalm the raccoonsDonald scared off with his shouting.
How To Feed The Raccoons
To feed theraccoons in the Forest of Valor, you’ll need to collectblueberries. Mirabel will tell youhow to approach the raccoonssince they’re shy, and send you to collect snacks.Find two raccoons, play their game to get close, andfeed them blueberriesto befriend them. You’ll need to findtwo separate raccoonsto feed. Giving both blueberries to the same raccoon will not complete the objective.
The raccoons can be tricky to spot, but keep an eye out and be careful of your surroundings. If they spot you before you see them they’ll take off. You cancheck your collection menuto see which raccoons areavailable in the foreston any given day, so you know who to look for.
If you feed the raccoons something they don’t like, you won’t be able to approach them again that day, which can slow down the quest progress. Be sure to select the blueberries when prompted to give the critters a treat.
Where To Find Scrooge’s Cash Register Key
Next, you’ll need tofind Scrooge’s key. The raccoons ran off with it andburied it somewhere, sotake out your Royal Shovel andsearch the Forest of Valor.
You’ll find itburied in one of the sparkling holesscattered throughout the biome, though the location isnot guaranteed to be in the same placefor every village.
Start your search by Kristoff and Anna’s house. The key is most likely to spawn in that area. If you’ve moved the house since starting the game, try checking the building’s old location if you’re having trouble finding the key.
Once youhave the key in your inventory, head back to Scrooge and return the key. When you talk to Scrooge, he’s grateful to have the key back and doesn’t want any more trouble.Return to Mirabeland she still wants to make this up to them and stop their fighting.

Once all the materials are gathered,head to the nearest crafting stationto put them all together. You’ll be one step closer to resolving the feud between Donald and Scrooge, and helping them forgive Mirabel for meddling.
Next, you’ll need togather the ingredients to bake a delicious Red Fruit Pie. The recipe is simple, and you’ll only need three ingredients:
Raspberries are recommendedfor their bright color and easy gathering. Put everything together and cook it tobake a vibrant pie.
As of Version 1.6,Raspberries are the only red fruit in the game. Using Apples will produce an Apple Pie, Gooseberries will produce Snow White’s Gooseberry Pie, and Cherries will produce Cherry Pie.
Once you’ve made everything,talk to Mirabel. Follow her andlisten to her apologizeto Scrooge for her meddling. He’ll forgive her and they’ll make up. It seems like things are smoothed over for now, and Scrooge may be easier on Donald in the future.
When the scene is over,speak to Mirabel. She’s grateful for your help and realizes that not all families are like hers. Hopefully, she won’t meddle so much in the future.As a rewardfor your help,you’ll earn friendshipwith Mirabel and continue to help the valley grow.
