The maximum amount of HP you can accumulate is 330, with 150 of that coming directly from turning in Ornate Chalices to the Blood Upgrade lady getting the skin peeled from her body in the City of the Blessed Name. You will begin your journey with only a measly 150 HP, with the remaining 50 coming from making blood sacrifices in the large chalice in front of the aforementioned ‘Blood Upgrade’ lady.

Ornate Chalice One Location

Ornate Chalice number oneis located in theSacred Entombentsregion and isat the base of the enormous column in the center.However,before you can get to it, you must lower the sand the entire way,which you will naturally do as you make your way to Radamés,the area’s boss.

After you lower the sandthe entire way down,head back out to the region’s central area and jump the whole way downto snag your first Ornate Chalice. From here, justtake it back to the Blood Upgrade ladyto receive+30 to your max HP!

Ornate Chalice Two Location

Oursecond Ornate Chalicewill be acquired in thePalace of the Embroideriesregion and isin the upper left room of the dungeon.Navigate your way there to find apinkish-red itemon the floor.

Picking up the item willtrigger several waves of enemies.Clearing every wave will reward you with your second Ornate Chalice.If youhappen to die here, don’t worry; you may attempt this wave-based Challenge Room as much as you likeuntil you successfully beat every wave.

After you’ve earned your Ornate Chalice,take it back to the Blood Upgrade lady in the City of the Blessed Nameto receive another+30 to your max HP!

Ornate Chalice Three Location

Ornate Chalice number threeis the easiest of the bunch, as it ispurchasable for 6000 Tears of Atonementfrom theMerchant in the Forlorn Patioregion. This areafirst becomes available to you whenever you’re in the Streets of Wakeregion bynavigating northwestfrom the Prie-Dieu.

With the Merchant’s pockets much heavier now and a new Ornate Chalice in your possession, head back to theBlood Upgraderoom to receive yet another+30 to your overall health!

Ornate Chalice Four Location

Thefourth Ornate Chaliceis obtainable in theSunken Cathedraldungeon. Itwon’t be available until you’ve navigated to the left sideof the region andcut back through the center and into the right portionof the dungeon again. You willlower a ladder here with a door directly beside it.

Enter this door tofind another pinkish-red itemcalling your name on the ground.Pick it up to summon in another Challenge Roomwith waves upon waves of enemies.Defeat every wave to walk away with your fourth Ornate Chalice.

Like last time, dying here won’t destroy the item or anything bizarre like that. Youcan attempt this Challenge Room as much as you likeuntil you emerge victorious with your Ornate Chalice. And once that happens, you know where to take it to get another+30 added to your HP!

Ornate Chalice Five Location

Last and certainly not least is ourfifth Ornate Chalice,which is theculmination of Challenge Rooms,so to speak. to get this Chalice, you must firstfind all five rooms with bedridden sisters and candlesin them, thenreturn to the room just to the right of the Prie-Dieuin theStreets of Wakeregion.

Each sister you find will unlock a new Battle Challengewhen yourevisit the room to the right of the Prie-Dieu in the Streets of Wake,witheach granting you a new reward upon completion.Thefifth and final reward will always be an Ornate Chalice,meaning you must find all five rooms and complete all five challenges to obtain it.

Nonetheless, after you track down and find all five sisters and clear all five Battle Challenges, you cantake the Ornate Chalice back to the Blood Upgradelady in theCity of the Blessed Nameto receive your last+30 upgrade to your max health!

Every time you enter the Blood Upgrade room and the large chalice in the front of the room is empty, interact with it and sacrifice your blood to refill it. You will eventually receive +30 HP from doing this, taking your maximum HP from 300 to 330!
