Plopsy is an in-game store (inspired by Etsy) and provides that real-life feeling of entrepreneurship: You make a product, list it on Plopsy for sale, wait for offers from potential buyers, and even ship packages when you accept a deal!

How To Access Plopsy

To be able to access the Plopsy in-game app, you will first need to have theNifty Knitting expansion pack installed.After that, accessing Plopsy will just take a few clicks. You’d want to get into Plopsyonly when looking for items to buy and order.

You can find it onyour Sim’s phoneby selecting the Shopping tab and then“Browse Plopsy.”You will see a list appear on your screen with several items listed by many players. The list also includes:

You can also access the Plopsy app from aSim’s computer. To do so, select the computer and then“Order,”- it will give you the“Browse Plopsy” option just like in the phone, and you will see the same list.

On the right top of the Plopsy app, players can see thetime left for the page to refresh. This is becausethe items list is updated every hour, so if you see an item you like, make sure to buy it quickly!

How To List Items For Sale On Plopsy

Listing items in Plopsy is even easier than buying things from it. Basically, you can list somecraftable itemsfrom your Sim’s inventory; for example, you can list:

You can’t list any perishable items(juices, food, etc.) or some craftable items like music tracks or fabricated furniture in Plopsy.

The best way to see if you may list something on Plopsy is simply to try it.

Once you have afinished itemin your inventory, you only need to click on it; then you’ll see the option“List on Plopsy (§10)”and it’s done! Of course, you’ll have to pay the stated fee of§10 for every item you list.

You will notice that the items you list on Plopsy will now have apink background.If you move your mouse pointer to a specific item, you’ll be able to see:

Once someone makes an offerfor your item for sale, you’ll see the item’s background change toblue. To accept the offer you received, just click the item and then select“Ship for (the amount of the offer).”

Items for sale on Plopsy only last three days listed.So, if you don’t receive an offer during that time, you’d have torelist your item. The same applies when you receive an offer that you don’t like. You’d have to relist the item and pay the §10 fee again.
