The people of Neon aren’t easy to deal with since they know the ins and outs of every deal. As soon as you set foot on the planet, you’ll start working towards a goal that’ll require you to make a bunch of important choices.
How To Reach The Seller
After you enter the city, Walter will first take you to meet his wife sincehe needs to ask her for the funds to execute the deal. During this dialogue, she’ll ask you to take some precautionary measures including getting information on the seller and talking to the security of the Astral Lounge. Walter will only give you 1,000 Credits to deal with both of these.
You’ll have to be very careful about your decisions hereif you don’t want to spend money from your own pocket. Here’s how you can finish both these steps with only 1,000 Credits:

Once you’ve successfully dealt with all these scenarios, you can meet Walter and go to the Astral Lounge with him for the deal.
Where To Find The Seller
Once you get into the Lounge, Walter will tell you that the buyer will have a big briefcase in their hand, and you’ll be asked to locate them. He can be found in theback side of the bar near the bartender who you talked to earlier. He’ll be leaning against a wall with a white briefcase sitting on the floor beside him.
Talk to the seller andchoose the “I’m with Ramsay and Travers.” option. After this dialogue, he’ll start heading up to the VIP room and you’ll have to do the same with Walter. Once in the room, sit down with the seller and select the following options to get the briefcase without any violence:

As you head out of the room after making the deal, you’ll beconfronted by one of Slayton’s employees mentioning that the Artifact is his property. This is where your VIP badge comes into play as you can simply ask the security nearby to step in and ask the employee to leave. Although, you’ll still have to deal with Slayton since he will confiscate your ship.
How To Deal With Slayton
As you enter Slayton’s Aerospace, you’ll have two options to get to the Executive Level where you’re supposed to meet him:
Slayton will be onto your plans as soon as you get into the elevator, andyou’ll have to use Issa’s guidance to get out of the area. She’ll ask you to head inside the vents on your right after you come out of the elevator and follow it through. Eventually, you’ll find a hole where you can drop down and follow the conduit path.

Keep in mind that this entire mission needs to be done in stealth. If you get detected, you’ll have to defeat a lot of enemies.
You’ll find another vent at the top as you reach the end of the path, and yet another hole to jump down after. She’llopen the door to your right as you drop down to make a side path. Don’t wait for too long in any room as the security will patrol there and detect you. Issa will also ask you to wait at certain times for the robots to pass.

Once you get outside, you’ll see a few guards in the area but you can start shooting them here if you’re tired of stealth. You’ll have to defeat four guards in total, but it’s much easier than trying to get past them. Moreover, your scanner will highlight the wrong path here. The correct path is going straight below the stairs one of the guards was standing on and then turning left.
You’ll see another set of stairs there that’lllead you directly to the blue marker where you may confront Slayton. As you talk to him, you’ll constantly have an option to Attack, but it’llstart your fight against every employee and soldier in the building, so it’s recommended to avoid it. Use the following options for a non-violent outcome:

What Should You Do With Musgrove?
Slayton will ask you to do however you please with the thief who stole his Artifact, and you’llhave the option to let him go, hand him over to the police, or kill him. No matter what you choose, Slayton will agree with your decision and let you go, but Walter and your companion won’t be happy if you kill him.
Moreover, it’s recommended tohand him over to the police since some companions will like that. Once you choose Musgrove’s fate, you’ll have to make your way back to the ship and take off to start the Starborn quest.
