You canearn Coinsby simplyplaying through the Story Mode,asaccumulating 100 Ringswill net youa Coin,same withfinding and destroying a Golden Enemy,whicheach Act of every Stage will have oneof.

Additionally, you will alsofind Coins hidden throughout each Act.They can be tucked away in a secret area or plain sight, waiting for you to speed through it.

Furthermore, there will also belarge Blue Rings and Blackholes that will transport you to a ‘Catch the Coin’ mini-game,which can net you anywhere fromone to five Coins,depending on which mini-game you get.

Spending Coins On Battle Mode Cosmetics

Even though they areobtained inStory Mode,Coins are thecurrency used to drip out your Battle Mode Robot,withtons of cosmetics availablein theShopthat can be accessed in theWorld Map in Story Modeor from theBattle Mode menu.

Lastly, let’s discussSkins for the active playable rosterin Sonic Superstars. This, unfortunately, is where things get a bit less exciting, asSkins are only obtainable via Microtransactions and cannot be earned or obtained by playing the game.
