InPaleo Pines, not only can you can decorate your ranch with flora and furniture, but you can also use that same furniture in dinosaur pens. Decorating your Dino pens even serves a dual purpose: furniture decorations provide enrichment for your dinosaurs and can even influence the biome of their pen.
Some decorations, like bushes and flowers, you may buy from shops, but furniture needs to be custom ordered it, and several types of it require dyed cloths. If one of your aims is a beautifully decorated ranch, we’ll show you how to get all the dyed cloths you’ll need.
How To Obtain Dyed Cloths
There are seven colors of dyed cloth – Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green and Purple – and they have uses as crafting materials: you’ll need to use them forcustom orderingcertain furniture pieces fromMarlo or Freya.
To get them, you’ll first need tounlock Ariacotta Canyon, the third area of the game. You’ll need avariety of resourcessuch as Wood, Stone, and Fibre and dinosaurs with theStomper, Slasher, and Smasher skillsto easily geteverything you need to restore the path to Ariacotta.
Theeasiest dinosaurs to tamewith these skills are aStyracosaurus,Ankylosaurus, and aWuerhosaurus.
Once you unlock Ariacotta Canyon, head to theArcheo Pelagoin thenortheast cornerof the map and walk across the blue-and-white tiled bridge on thesouthern end of the areato one of thecenter islands.
Oraniwill have her shop hereon Thursdays, and she brings with her anexpanded stock: you can now custom-orderdyed clothsfrom her.
Once youunlock her new stockin Archeo Pelago, she’ll also have them available to order atPebble Plaza.
Each dyed cloth color needsone White Cloth, which ispurchasable from Oraniat any time, and thecorresponding dye or dyes, which are made at theAriacotta Windmill, which sits on thehillthat overlooks Archeo Pelago.
