Ashrah Overview

Thanks to her sword,Ashrah is a mid-ranged character who can attack a decent distance awayfrom enemies. Your attacks take more time to startup usually, but they allow you to hit from distances that others can’t with their normal attacks.

Ashrah not only has range on her side, but amazing combo potential. If you’re willing to practice with her and find her effective Kameos, you’ll be amazed by some of the strings you can executewith her.

Ashrah Tips

Ashrah may have a hard time against enemies who know how to get close enough to hit her and ranged opponents who can keep her away. Your goal with Ashrah is tokeep your opponents at mid-range, where you’re able to poke them with your attackswithout them countering you.

Doing so prevents close ranged characters from landing hits while also stopping long ranged characters from shooting projectiles since you can react to them.Performing well with Ashrah comes down to balancing your dark and light stances.

In essence, you want to get stacks from your dark attacks, then to switch to light and land another combo to maximize your damage. If you want an excellent move for this, incorporate Demon’s Wrath into your combos to instantly gain three stacks.

You’ll want to keep applying pressure with Ashrah, butdon’t use laggy moves, or your enemy will get a powerful combo on you. Instead, focus on landing a hit or two, and if you pull it off, continue the string into a combo.

If you want to master Ashrah, you’ll need to learn her move distances, how fast they can come out, and how to apply footsies to your gameplay.Footsies involves inching into range to hit opponents with the edges of your attacks, keeping you safe but still applying pressure.

Ashrah Kameo Tips

SinceAshrah has a built-in teleport, you may prioritize combo extensions and long-ranged Kameos. For instance, you could get some mileage out of characters like Jax, Goro, and Sonya.

Feel free to also try out Kano, Sareena, and Motaro for projectiles. Cyrax, Sektor, and Frost can also help you with combo extensions.

Ashrah Fatalities

Naturally, you’ll want to know how to use Ashrah’s Fatalities. She has two of them: you start with the first one and unlock the second one when you reach Mastery Rank 14 with her. If you want to practice them and see the required distances,go to Learn on the Main Menu and pick Fatalities.
