What Is The Shadow Curse?

As soon as you step foot into the darkness, your character has a debuff. Witheach “turn,” your character will take damageuntil they die. You cannot waltz through the shadows without meeting your end.

Every living thingneeds light to traverse this areaexcept the shadow monsters lurking within the realm itself.

How To Fix The Moon Lantern

Everywhere you go, people in the game are telling you that you need a Moon Lantern to get through the path to Moonrise Towers. This actually is not true.

How To Get Light Protection

There are different ways to protect yourself from the curse as well as different levels.Any light source will protect you from the Shadow Curse.This means torches or spells that cast light.

The problem is that some areas within the Shadow Lands are too dark for even regular light to pierce. This is when you need stronger protection from greater light sources.

You should seek out stronger protection because you areat a disadvantage having to carry a torch around.

You might end up in combat with a creature, and you won’t be able to perform any of your regular attacks because you won’t have a weapon equipped.

Torches can be found all around the world, but you will find plenty lying around if you take the Moonrise Towers path from Grymforge.

Light Spells

Any class that can acquire spells can acquire the Light orDancing Lightsspell. You may also find items that contain the spell, such as theGuiding Lightring.

Can pierce through all darkness.

If you free the Pixie within Kar’niss' Moon Lantern, she will grant you a bell you can use to enable the blessing and be protected.
