There’s plenty going on in the small town of Azoria when you first land there inFae Farm, but your journey across the sea was anything but easy – a network of Whirlpools made the journey a hassle! Speaking to the townsfolk, you learn you’re not the only one who’s fallen victim to their wrath lately, either.

It involves a lot of dungeon-crawling, some foraging, and a little bit of meal preparation, but your farmer can help stop the Whirlpools limiting Azoria’s access to the outside world. In this Fae Farm guide, we’ll help you clear the Whirlpools in Fae Farm.
Once you’ve finished a couple quests in Fae Farm’s tutorial levels and have convincedCleoto allow you into Saltwater Mines, your search for the source of the Whirlpool begins.

No matter how you do it, be it by bringing Seals or by rushing for buttons,go all the way through Saltwater Mines to the final floor.
Though other floors in the Mines do not act this way, when you arrive atFloor 25of Saltwater Mines, the Pedestal is unlocked automatically.
Here, you’ll findNeppy, an enormous creature who introduces themselves to you as theWater Sprite. When you ask them why they’re making the Whirlpools, they’re surprised to learn that this has been an issue for Azoria.
Neppy agrees to stop making Whirlpools, on one condition…
Step Two: Agree To Make Dinner
It’s a lonely business, being a Sprite locked dozens of floors into a Mine, andNeppy just wants a friend.
Keen to have company again, Neppy says they’llstop making Whirlpools if you make them dinnerand eat with them - they miss having dinner guests.
The foods Neppy requests are:
Sand Dollars and Corals
These are probably the easiest of the items you’ll need to find.They can be foragedfrom righton the Beach.
Neppy needsten of each shell, so grab all the shells you can.
Diced Roots
To make Diced Roots for Neppy, you’ll need aPrep Table. You can make one at your Homestead foroneBeech Lumber, one Copper Ingot, two Stone Bricks, and one Oak Lumber.
Requiring Lumber also means you’ll need aLumber Station, which canprocess raw Logs into Lumber.
Once you’ve placed a Prep Table, interact with it and selecta root vegetablefrom the list on the left. The menu on the right will show you what each ingredient will produce.
The easiest root vegetable to grow for this quest isTurnips. They grow relatively fast, and you’ll likely already be farming some back at the Homestead, if you’ve got a green thumb in games like this.
Sardine
Sardines are somewhat rare fish that can be found inStay-A-While Bay. You mayneed to fishfor quite a while to find one, but you’ll needthree Sardinesaltogether.
Don’t do anything to the fish, though!Neppy wants them wholeand as-is.
Steamed Fish
Possibly the most challenging of the dishes you’ll need to prepare for Neppy to stop the Whirlpools in Fae Farm, you’ll need aCooking Hearthto prepare Steamed Fish.
Cooking Hearths can beconstructed at your Homesteadwithtwo Beech Lumber, three Stone Bricks, three Clay Bricks, and two Copper Ingots.
Place the Cooking Hearth anywhere on your Homestead property, and you’ll be able to get to cooking.
When you’re all ready to make it, the recipe for Steamed Fish requiresone Fish Filletand two Fresh Greens.
The fillet can bemade on the Prep Tablefrom any kind of fish, orbought from Eddyover at his shop.
Fresh Greens can be made withArugulaat the Prep Table.
Step Three: Return To Neppy And Wait Overnight For The Whirlpools To Clear
Once you’ve got all the food and foraged goods Neppy asked for, head back down to Floor 25 of Saltwater Mines. Interact with thepool of water in front of Neppy with the pillars around the edgeto place the meals.
You can give Neppy items as you find them, or wait until you have them all - they’ll accept your items either way.
After giving the items to Neppy, they’ll tell you tocome back in the morningto eat with them. Spend the rest of the day however you’d like, and you’ll see acutscene the following morning.
The cutscene features your farmer and Neppy putting an end to the Whirlpools. In the process,Neppy teaches you the Vortex spell.
This spell can be used in combat toblow enemies awayfrom your farmer, or out in the fields toharvest some cropsall at once.
Once the Whirlpools have calmed, you’ll notice plenty of changes to Azoria - you’ll havenew residentswho could now come to port, the beginning ofshipping contracts, and more!
