It’s possible to sustain a massive party of characters inDisgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless. While you can only deploy ten units per battle, the sheer number of units you can have in reserve is mind-boggling - and the game encourages you to very large collection of characters thanks to the hueg variety of skills, strengths, and weaknesses they’ll all have.
While it’s possible to exchange money at the Recruiter to get some more bodies in your party, it’s also possible to pluck them directly from the battlefield! Capturing enemies can be a tough ask, but it can be worth the effort.
How To Capture Enemies
When you get right down to it, capturing an enemy is as easy aslifting the enemy and throwing them into your base panel. This is the tile that, in every battle, you use to summon your party members to fight.
When you throw an enemy into your base panel, it will start tofight all the units you have in reserve there. There are two possible outcomes:
There are various things you should take into account when attempting to capture an enemy this way. Firstly,if you cannot recruit the enemy’s class normally, it will be entirely impossible to beat them up in your base panel. This will end with your entire reserves wiped out, even if they would normally be able to wipe the enemy out.
Remember that it is not only the class that you must have unlocked but therank. Basically, unless you canscout a whole new unit of that class and rank combination, trying to capture them will fail automatically.
In addition, you’re able to expectunique enemies and bossesto be totally unrecruitable unless they fit the requirements listed above.
You can increase your chances of defeating and recruiting enemies thrown into the base panel by adding units to theCapture Squad. You don’t need to level up the Squad a lot to get a lot of benefit from it -at level three, your reserve units get a functional 20 percent stat boostwhen fighting thrown enemies, which is a significant boost.
