Instead of simply letting your extras go to waste, thebest way to build up a hefty supply of packsis by taking advantage of the available Squad Builder Challenges (SBCs). If you’re just learning the basics, then we’ve got you covered with these tips for recycling FUT duplicates.
What Is Recycling In FUT?
Recyclingrefers to taking your duplicate cards andusing them in an SBCto acquire another card or pack instead.
While opening packs, you will frequently receive duplicates of cards you already own.
If these cards are tradeable, then you can sell them on the FUT market if you would like.
If a duplicate is untradeable, then you must use it in an SBC if you do not want to waste it.
How To Recycle Your Duplicates
So, you got a duplicate, and it’s blocking you from opening any more packs until you deal with it? No problem.
In order to recycle this duplicate, back out of the menu andselect the option to deal with the items (cards) later.
Now you’ll beback at your main menuand can navigate over to the availableSquad Builder Challenges.
Step 1: Identify A Suitable SBC
First and foremost, you’ll need to choose an SBC from the ones available that will make the best use of your duplicate without wasting other valuable resources.
If you have something cheap like a Gold Common duplicate,don’t try to force it into an SBC with a high requirementas you will end up using other, valuable resources simply to avoid wasting a less valuable one.
Once you’ve identified an SBC, you cancheck the requirementsto ensure you won’t need more than you have to complete it.
The best SBCS to chooseare usually upgradepacksas they will allow you to replenish any other cards you used along with your duplicate.
For example, recycling a Team of The Season card into an 84+ ten-player pack requires an 87-rated squad, which is fairly easy to reach.
You shouldbe able to replenish the resourcesneeded to craft it while alsomaking use of a duplicate.
Step 2: Submit Your Duplicate
Once you find an SBC you like, then it’s time to fill out the requirementsalong with your duplicate.
If you want to infinitely recycle an 84+ or 85+ ten-player pack, you should use three high-rated (90+) Team of The Season Cards, one or two 84-85-rated cards, and fill out the rest with 78-83 overall players.
If you go over the requirements, start to replace high-rated cards with lower-rated ones until your next downgrade will miss the requirement.
Doing this will allow you toensure you’re not overpaying for an SBCand are making the best use of every overall rating point.
Make sure youdon’t accidentally remove your duplicate from the SBCwhile you are making adjustments for rating.
Step 3: Claim Your Reward And Duplicate Card
Now that the duplicate has been used, you canreturn to your packs and click one to bring up the “Claim Items” screen.
Your duplicate will now be gone from your club, and you can claim the new card here.
Once your card is claimed you’re able to return to opening packs at your leisure, now with more chances to geta surprisingly high-rated playergiven your shrewd use of redundant cards.
Experimenting with duplicates and SBCs will allow you to maximize the rewards you’re getting and put you on the path to Ultimate Team glory.
