Like other life-sim games,Moonstone Islandoffers the chance for you to romance characters in the game and form a deeper bond with them. You have eleven possible romance options among the game’s diverse cast of characters, each with their own personality, routine, likes, and dislikes.

If you want to romance someone, you’ll have to put the work in bonding with them via talking with them, gifting them items, and going on dates with them. How To Increase Your Relationship With A Character

Of the 11 characters in Moonstone Island,all 11 of them are romanceable.

you’re able to increase your relationship with any character,including those you can romance, byinteracting with them,gifting them items, or going on dates with them.

Each in-game dayyou have the opportunity to interact with a characterthree timesusing theChat, Joke, or Flirt dialogue options. TheFast Talkerskill increases the chance byone per day.

You have apercentage chance to succeedat any of the three, withChat starting at 70 percent,Joke at 50 percent, andFlirt at ten percent,but these can be further increased byleveling up skills in the Social category.Having ahigher relationshipwith a character alsoincreases your chance to succeedat an action.

Performing any one of these actions willboost the character’s relationshipbut if one of the actionsfails, you’ll bededucted several points.

You can see the skill chart at any time byusing a Magic Mirror, which is crafted at aMoonstone Enchanter.

Gifting items is availableonce an in-game weekand each character hasseveral things they like or love, often relating to their profession. You can increase it totwo gifts a weekby getting theGenerousskill.

Giving a characteran item they dislike, such as gifting Cleo a Flax Flower, will result in arelationship point deduction.

How To Go On A Date With A Character

At any time, you have the option togo on a date with a character. This is done by talking with them and selecting theAsk On A Dateoption, and you can haveone date a week per character.

You’ll have the option to take a character toseveral locationsincluding theBeach, Tavern, Hot Spring, and the Villager’s Houseif you’ve reached a higher enough relationship and each one has itsown percentage chance of succeeding.

Failing at asking themon a date will result in asmall drop in relationship, usually six points, and you won’t be able to ask them on another dateuntil the next day. If youmiss a date, you’ll also get the samepoint penalty, and beunable to ask themagain on that day.

All dates will occur at20:00 in the evening,and you are also able tochoose a day for the date, eitherone or two days after you ask.

During the date, you’ll talk with your chosen character, getting to know them a little more, and have the option toanswer a question from them. Answering the questioncorrectlywill result in alarge boost in relationship points, usually between60 and 99 points. Answeringincorrectlywilldeduct a large amountof relationship points.

Dates will causethe current night to end, and you’ll wake up in your homethe next morning,so ensure you’ve finished everything you want to do early on a date day.

How To Officially Date A Character

Entering into an official relationship with a character meansgifting them a Moonstone Bracelet.

The Moonstone Bracelet’s recipe is unlocked via thelast slot in the right-most pathin theSocialtab,More Than A Crush. Once unlocked, it can becrafted at a Moonstone Enchanter, and requiresone Iron Ingot and three Moonstonesto craft.

Gift the Moonstone Braceletto a villager of your choice, and you’ll then be in a relationship with them, and unlock the ability togo on a date with a villager to their home.
