Early on inPalia, you’ll end up completing some quests for Jina, the inquisitive researcher and archaeologist. One of these quests is the Ancient Battery quest, and the method to complete the quest isn’t that obvious from what Jina tells you. It asks you to “Solve A Riddle.”
This quest is pretty straightforward - you just need to head into the temple area behind Phoenix Falls, and then interact with the large bowl on the floor in the middle of the room.Pour some water into it with your watering can, and the door will open.
How To Solve The Ancient Battery Quest
We’ve marked the area on the map above where you need to enter the main room and find the bowl on the floor.
Once there, you’re able to use your watering can on the bowl to fill it with water, thus opening the door.
This is the answer to the riddle:
“Knowledge grows the mind even in times of strife, To enter here, you must supply that which grows life.”
There are a few other items lying around that you’re able to interact with. This will open up the next area of the temple,which can’t be completed until you’ve earned your Glider.
You can refill your watering can at any water source, including those inside the cave/temple area.
