The craziest chapter ofGhostrunner 2, by far, is Mindgames. Jack arrives at Mitra’s hideout, but he didn’t know that Mitra, Madhu, and Rahu were there, waiting for him. Rahu quickly traps Jack in the Cybervoid while, at the same time, Madhu and Mitra depart to Dharma just to take control of it.
During Mindgames, you’ll find some tricky puzzle rooms with purple and orange crystals you must break in order. The issue is that you must do it in a timely manner, or else you won’t progress. If you are stuck here, don’t fret; here’s a guide on how to complete the puzzles in Mindgames.
Stage One
The puzzles you’ll find to progress through Mindgames are easy to understand;you must break the purple and orange crystals in the order the game gives to you, but at the same time,you have 5 seconds in between crystals to complete the puzzle.This means you must figure out a path to break all crystals.
So, for the very first stage with a puzzle you’ll find in this mission,you must break two purple crystals, then an orange one, then another purple one, and lastly, an orange crystal.
The very first two purple crystals are next to each other, on the right side of the stage.There’s an air vent that will take you to the upper platforms.Break the first one, go through the walkable wall, then break the second one.
After that, keep walking further, turn to the left and drop yourself; you’ll find an orange crystal you must break. The next purple crystal is next to the orange one you just broke. That leaves you with only a crystal to break; it’s at a platform you must reach with the Grappling Gun.
After solving the puzzle, you’ll go through some brief dialogues, and then,you must kill some enemies.Remember to deal with the ranged ones first, and then you can take on the melee ones.
Stage Two
After progressing through some simple platforming, you’ll come across the second stage of purple and orange crystals. This time,you must first break a purple one, then an orange one, then two purples, and lastly, an orange one.
First,reach the purple crystal that is nearer the holograms. You’ll start from that one.Position yourselfso you break the purple crystal then you quickly run towards the orange one near it.After breaking those two, get down and break the two purple crystals near the entrance of the stage.
They are far from each other, so use the dash to save some time. Then, reach the last orange crystal by running through the walkable wall.
Stage Three
It’s time for the third puzzle stage. For this one,you must start by breaking an orange crystal, then go for three purple ones, and then you must get rid of the remaining orange crystal.
This one is all about timings; you must stretch the time in between breaking the crystals as much as you’re able to.
As you can see,the stage is composed of the upper platforms, where you’ll see an orange and a purple crystal,then you’ll see the middle platforms, where you’ll see two platforms with purple crystals and an empty one, and those are rotating at a high speed, and then,the pillar in the middle which has an orange crystal.
You must start from the orange crystal in the upper platforms.Step near it andwait until one of the two platforms with a purple crystal on it comes by.Break the orange crystal, then jump at the platform.Wait until the very last second and break the purple crystal.
Then, you must jump to the air vent you’ll see at the right of the platform. This is to reach the second purple crystal.Wait until the very last second and break it.After that, you are likely to see how the remaining purple crystal comes by; jump and break it, then jump to the pillar and break the remaining orange crystal.
Stage Four
This is the last stage you’ll go through.This one involves portals, so you’ll be teleporting yourself through the stage to complete it.To do it,you must break two purple crystals, then the only orange one, then the last two purple crystals.
As you can see in this stage, you’ll find yourself with two portals on opposite sides of the room.Next to them are three rotating platforms;two with purple crystals and an empty third one.
The rest of the crystals are at the bottom of the stage; a purple and orange one on opposite sides of the middle platforms and a purple one on the bottom platform.
You must start in one of the two upper platforms with a purple crystal. It doesn’t matter which one.Get on one of those platforms, andwait until you reach the portal on the left side of the room.At that exact moment,break the crystal, get inside the portal, and run to catch the second purple crystal.
It won’t be far away. After that,drop yourself, and you’ll find the orange crystal. Break it, then drop yourself again to break the purple crystal in the middle, and wait for the air vent in one of the lower rotating platforms to reach the last crystal.
