Starfield’sMaintaining The Edge is the seventh Ryujin Industries mission; Imogene has yet another sly corporate espionage mission for you. This time, Trident Luxury Lines is the target. Intel has discovered that the company has engineered an engine prototype that is seventeen percent more efficient than any engine on the market.

In true Ryujin Industries fashion, they want you to infiltrate Trident Luxury Lines and steal the Prototype Schematics. To successfully complete the Maintaining The Edge quest, you’ll need to bring a few Digipicks and brush up on your sneaking skills, as Trident Luxury Lines is filled with guards.
Travel To Trident Luxury Lines Staryard
Your first objective is totravel to Trident Luxury Lines Staryard,which can be found orbitingAkila in theCheyenne System.
You’ll have to dock before you can enter the Staryard. Once inside, youwalk into the reception area. There will be a couple of guards patrolling the room. However, it’s nothing compared to the dozen downstairs in the office.
Akila is in Freestar Collective-controlled space, so verify youdon’t have any contrabandonboard your ship before traveling here.
How To Steal The Prototype Schematics
You havetwo optionsin how you are to approachstealing the Prototype Schematics; you can either:
Stealing The Prototype Schematics Through The Vent
Stealing the Prototype Schematics via the vent access is the best option, as you’ll encounteronly one security guard. However, you will need to have unlockedExpert level Security to unlock the vent.
A security guard will sometimes stand outside of the vent room in the Trident Luxury Lines reception. You can close the door to break the line of sight.
However, make sure your follower is in the room with you or command them to stay on your ship. They can open the door if they follow you, revealing you to the guard. (Thanks, Bethesda…)
Once you’ve unlocked the vent, you drop down to the floor below and use aDigipick to unlock the chest and steal the Prototype Schematics.
Stealing The Prototype Schematics In The Office
If you don’t have Expert Security unlocked, you can steal the Prototype Schematics via the downstairs office.You will need to use a Digipickto unlock thedoor opposite Gladys Coffin, but it’s only aNovice lock.
Your biggest problem is avoiding the guards and Gladys. However, we managed it withone rank in Stealth.
You canfind a Digipick in the office by entering the small storage roomat the back of the office.
Return To Imogene At Ryujin Tower
Once you’ve picked up the Prototype Schematics, it’s time torun back to Imogene Salzo at the Ryujin Tower on Neonto collect your reward and get your next assignment, leading to theTop Secrets mission.
