The Kameo roster is a completely different list of characters when you compare it to your regular characters’ select screen inMortal Kombat 1. You can select one from 15 different characters that will aid you in your battles — if you know how to use them properly, of course.

One big difference with this reduced roster, however, is that a good chunk of the characters here are locked. Five Kameos, including iconic figures such as classic versions of Sub-Zero and Scorpio, will be waiting for you. Learn how to make these extra fighters join your forces in bloody battles by reading this guide.
How To Unlock Every Kameo
Just like it happens with Havik, you’ll have to play the gameto get your complete roster of Kameo fighters. However, instead of playing the Story Mode specifically, hereyou need to level up your Profile Level.
Don’t confuse your Profile Level with yourFighter Mastery Rank, which is specific to each one of your characters, or with theInvasion Level, which is the big number below your characters’ icons on the upper left side of the screen while playing Invasion Mode.

To earn experience points for your Profile Level, you basically need tofight in Ladders, online battles, or in Invasion Mode. How you perform and what you do in the fight will determine the amount of points you earn.
For example, winning a matchwithout losing any bit of HP and ending it with a Finisherlike a Fatality will give you more points than having won with less health left and without a Finisher.
Brutalities give you more points than Fatalities, and Fatal Blows also give you some — although not as much as winning the fight without getting hit.
Below you’re able to find a table with all the locked Kameos and which Rank Level you need to unlock them.

These are the only available Kameo characters at the moment of writing this guide, butmore will be available as DLC in the future. However, these will be unlocked by purchasing them with real money, not by leveling up your profile.
