Havik is one of the most interesting and original characters in Mortal Kombat history. He can’t break his own limbs, grab his own arm or head and attack you with them, use some dark magic, and also increase the reach of their attacks by breaking his joints. Learn how to get him and start flexing in your battles.
How To Unlock Havik
Fortunately, to start playing with Havik, you just need to play the game and finish the Story Mode.
This mode is the straightforward single-player journey that you have been playing since Mortal Kombat’s reboot in 2011 (also called MK 9). A tale divided into chapters that tell everything going on with the characters you know and the new faces with cutscenes and explosive moments.

On this opportunity, Mortal Kombat 1’s story has15 chapters, presented in four acts. Overall, it will take youaround five hoursto see the credits, and this can be easily reduced byskipping all the cutscenes and choosing the easiest difficulty. That way, you’ll see the end in just a couple of hours.
We wouldn’t recommend this though, as the story can be pretty entertaining. But if you decide to skip some moments, you can then use thechapter select featureto repeat any chapter you want.
Once you’ve finished the last chapter, you’ll unlock Havik and have him in your roster for good.
Shang Tsung is also a locked character, but contrary to Havik, you’re able to’t unlock him by playing. He was a pre-order bonus, and you have topay real moneyto let Shang Tsung join your roster. (How much he costs is unknown at the moment of writing this article.)
