As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock more animals that can live on your farm. Each new animal produces a new item for you to collect and create new decorations and recipes. You can also breed them to get new color variations as well.
How To Unlock Livestock

As you progress through the game and complete dungeons, you’llunlock new areasto use for raising livestock. Different vendorssell different animals(and the related breeding services) to help your farm thrive.
Keep in mind that you can onlyown six animals at a timefor each structure. For example, you can haveup to six chickoos and cottontailscombined in the coop.
If you want more, you’ll need tosell some to make room.
How To Care For Livestock
Once youbring home your livestock, you’ll need to take care of them. This includesfeeding, petting, and brushingthem dailyto increase their attitude.
The animals eat different types of grass. While thesmaller animals will eat plant fibers,bigger animals will need fodder.
You can keep youranimals cooped up, or you canring the belland let themwander the farmand graze when the weather is nice. Letting them out boosts their fresh air time, making them happier.
Animalswill not go outsideif the weather is severe, so you’ll need toput food in the troughfor them.
Your animals willproduce goods daily, so make sure toharvest and store themfor later use. You cansell the animal productsas well for extra florins.
How To Sell Livestock
If youno longer needyour animals, or if you want to make room for different ones, you cansell themback to the vendoryou bought them from.
To have your animal join you,interact with the ledger by the structure to have them follow. Your furry friend will appear and chase after you as youtake them backto the vendor.
Speak to the vendorand choose tosell your animalback to them. You’ll have room in your coop or barn again for new animals.
How To Breed Livestock
In addition to purchasing livestock, you can alsobreed existing animals. You’ll need tobring the desired animalto the vendor for breeding. You’llleave the animalwith themfor a few days, and when the process is done, you’ll have anew baby animalon your farm.
Make sure that there is room in the ledger before taking your animal to the vendor.
