Archetypes inRemnant 2greatly influence your character and how you play the game. So, when choosing an Archetype, it’s important to consider which one suits your gameplay style best. Initially, the game presents four starting Archetypes, with more becoming available as you progress.

While some Archetypes, like the Medic and the Handler, are easy to unlock, others demand more effort. The Invader Archetype follows a similar progression as the Engineer and Summoner, requiring you to complete several steps before unlocking it. However, with the Invader, it’s not just that – you’ll also need to reach near the end of the game before it becomes accessible.
How To Unlock The Invader Archetype
Before you can access the Invader Archetype, you need to make significant progress in the game andreach thefinal world, Root Earth.
While you’re on the journey toward Root Earth,obtain the Dreamcatcher. Thisitem is mandatory for unlocking the Invader Archetype.

Once you have the Dreamcatcher and can enter Root Earth, your next objective is to advance through the gameuntil you arrive at the Corrupted Harbor location. In the Corrupted Harbor, you will come across what seems like a shipwreck.
Head down tothe lower level,and you’ll discover a hidden open space. In the center, you’ll finda strange-looking pod surrounded by a blue mist. From this pod, you can acquire theEscalation Protocol

This amuletenhances your damage by 2.5 percent for ten seconds after defeating an enemy. Notably, its effectscan accumulate up to ten times, and thetimer resets whenever you inflict damage.
From this point onward, the process is the same tothe one used for the Crescent Moon Bow. First,equip the Dreamcatcher and attack the podhere. This action will grant you theWalker’s Dream.

Next, place this consumable item in your quick bar and use it. This will transport you to an alternate version of this area known asTwilight Vale.
While in Twilight Vale, you mustdefeat the boss,Bane,and obtain theWooden Shiv.

Similar to other Archetypes, return toWallace in Ward 13. Use theWooden Shivwithten Lumenite Crystals and 1,000 scrapto craft theSerrated Root Blade.
After successfully crafting theEngram, equip it tounlock the Invader Archetype.
Invader Archetype Overview
The Invader is a unique Archetype with a focus onusing sneakinessandmisdirectionwhen facing enemies to gain the upper hand.
Their special abilities center aroundcreating decoys, drawing the enemy’s attention away from allies, andsetting a restore point with all their current stats.

Alongside this, they boastincreased damage,agility,lower threat generation, and atemporary invulnerability buff.
Invader Archetype Equipment
If you decide to begin the game with The Invader Archetype as your starting class, you will be equipped with the following gear:
Description
Coach Gun
A high damage double-barrel shotgun, ideal for short range encounters due to its powerful slugs with a wide spread.
Service Pistol
A reliable handgun that provides decent damage, ideal for close to mid range encounters due to its accuracy.
Steel Katana
A versatile melee weapon that deals moderate damage and excels in delivering rapid and precise attacks.
Dendroid Mask
Part of the Dendroid armor set: a light armor that prefers agility and offers decent protection and Bleed, Toxin, and Blight resistance.
Dendroid Grips
Invader Archetype Skills
All Archetypes in Remnant 2 consist of aPrime Perk, Damage Perk, Team Perk, Utility Perk, and Relic Perk. Furthermore, they providethree distinct Skillsto use during combat, as wella special Trait.

Prime Perk
Shadow
Using an Invader Skill leaves a decoy that draws enemies' attention for 3 seconds
5% additional damage to enemies not targeting the Invader

Starting skill
Void Cloak
Perfect dodge automatically all incoming direct damage for 60 seconds
Reduce the timer by 33% - 100% based on damage absorbed for each auto evade and spawn a decoy for 3 seconds
Skill at level 5
Worm Hole
Warps the Invader forward. Deal 300% damage for the next Melee or Ranged attack within 5 seconds
Hold skill button: Enable the targeting device: Invader will teleport behind an enemy that is directly targeted by the device
Skill at level 10
Reboot
Create a data backup for the Invader’s current Health, Stamina, Relic Charges, Ammo, and Negative Status Effects. Last 30 seconds
While the data backup is active, 15% Movement Speed and 10% Damage Reduction
Reactivating the skill restores the saved values from the data backup and spawns a decoy for 3 seconds
S.H.A.R.K.
Add 1 stack ofMomentumwhen sprinting for 1 second or Evading
Momentum: 0.7% Ranged and Melee damage for 15 seconds. Can stack up to 5 times
Team Perk
Loophole
5% Lifesteal to ally Ranged and Melee damage against distracted enemies by Invader’s decoy
10% decrease of Evade cost and Combat Slide
Relic Perk
Override
When using a Relic charge, 25% reduction in Threat Generation for 10 seconds
When override is active, next Evade leaves a Empowered Decoy for 4 seconds
