Upgrading your gear and equipment is a core part ofBlasphemous 2, enabling you to hone your build to your playstyle or specific needs, becoming a force to be reckoned with. While Rosary Beads, Altarpieces, and Prayers make you stronger, so do Weapon Upgrades, which will unlock more parts of the Skill Tree for the upgrade’s corresponding weapon.

The dual rapiers, Sarmiento & Cenelle, are arguably the weakest base weapon in the game, but that can be fixed by unlocking its true potential by maxing out its Skill Tree. To do that, you must first obtain its two upgrades hidden within the desolate world of Blasphemous 2.
Sarmiento & Cenelle (Dual Rapiers) Upgrade One Location
Ourfirst upgradefor theSarmiento & Canelleis located in theChoir of Thornsregion. While this is an early area in the game, you willneed to havethePassage of Ash(Double Jump) ability to obtain it,which is obtained after you complete the Afilaor boss encounter.
Time Trial Location And Guide
After you have thePassage of Ash Ability,head to thefirst Prie-Dieu in Choir of Thorns,thenhead two rooms over.Once here,navigate to the bottom of the room to find an area you may slide under in the bottom leftcorner.
Here, you will find ahidden statue,activating a Time Puzzlewhen interacted with. To complete this Time Puzzle, you will need the aforementioned Double Jump Ability toscale back up the room quickly, then swiftly slide underneath the gateto permanently open it.
Upgrade Location
Once in thenext room,use theSarmiento & Cenelle and hit the Mirrors with them to blink across the spike pit.When on the other side of the spike pit,drop down to find the first upgradeto the dual rapiers!
Sarmiento & Cenelle (Dual Rapiers) Upgrade Two Location
Upgrade number twois found in thenortheast portion of the Elevated Temples,and you will need theScions' Protection Abilityin order to obtain it. This Ability allows you to jump onto floatingGold Hooksto pass over large gaps or reach new heights.
Upgrade Two Puzzle Location And Guide
Once you have this Ability acquired,head to the northeastern portion of the Elevated Temples(as shown in the map above). You willsee the second upgrade taunting you behind a breakable wall,but you willlack the height to destroy itwith the Ruego Al Alba.
From here,head to the left,thenjump across the gap and ascend the ladderinto the area above. Next, you will see aMirror that leads to a small gap and another breakable wall on the opposite sideof the wall.
Take the Mirror upinto the gap, thenjump as soon as you slide outof it into the other side. Swiftlyswitch to the Ruego Al Alba and perform a downward slam to destroy the breakable wall.Then switch back to the Sarmiento & Cenelle anduse the Mirrors to reach the section aboveyou.
In thefollowing room,you will seea breakable floor and a Mirror.Use the Sarmiento & Cenelle on the Mirror tofling yourself high into the air and swiftly switch to your Ruego Al Alba to perform another downward slam,causing you tocut through the floor and onto the second upgrade!
