As you progress through the daunting and foreboding world ofBlasphemous 2, you will acquire unique items and equipment that will be a lifesaver in some of the more challenging and unrelenting areas and encounters.

Weapon Upgrades are among these crucial aspects, as they will make your weapons stronger and have more utility in battle, turning some weapons into absolute powerhouses. The Ruego Al Alba is a prime example of turning something that is already more than capable of the job into something that can carve through even the most formidable opponent in seconds.
Ruego Al Alba (Sword) Upgrade One Location
Thefirst upgradefor theRuego Al Albais located in theBeneath Her Sacred Groundsregion,just to the right as soon as you drop into it.You will need thePassage of Ash(Double Jump) Ability for this upgrade,which means you must first defeat Afilaor.
Ruego Al Alba First Upgrade Location
With theDouble JumpAbilityearned,head near the top of the Beneath Her Sacred Groundsregion andhop across the stone platforms that crumbleand turn to dust as you move from one to the other. Here, you will seean opening to the right. Double Jump up to it and enter the following room.
This next room will havea large enemy with a hammerin it. You canleap over him and continue into the next area.Once here,navigate downward until you reach an area with a Mirror and a breakable wallbeneath it.
Double Jump from off the wallwith yourSarmiento & Cenelle equippedandhit the Mirrorwith them tolaunch yourself high into the air,thenquickly switch over to your Ruego Al Albaand perform adownward smash with them to destroy the wall.Beyond the wall you just opened will be thefirst upgrade!
Ourlast upgradefor theRuego Al Albais much more complex than the previous one and all the other weapons, but it won’t be too much of an issue. For this one, you must make your way over to theCrown of Towersregion and will need theDrift of Ash(Air Dashing) Ability.
Ruego Al Alba Second Upgrade Location
Now that you have theAir Dashing Abilitymake your way to thenortheast portion of the Crown of Towersregion, thenhead to the west to find a Statue(as pictured above).Interact with it to open a gate in the upper right cornerof the room you’re currently in.
Using your Abilities, Wall-Jump up, then Air Dash through the chains, and make your way over to the gateas fast as you can, thenslide underneath it just before it closesto access the following room.
Once in the next room,use the Ruego Al Alba to smash through the breakable floor,where you willfind another Statue beneath it.Interact with this one as well andlower the lift the entire way to the bottom.
From here,quickly make your way back up through the floor you just broke, then hop across the platforms on the right.Uponreaching the last platform, leap off it and perform another downward slam with your Ruego Al Albra to catch the lift on its way back up, breaking the wall to the rightof it.Enter the newly opened room to find the second and final upgradeof the Ruego Al Alba!
