Upgrading your agents inThe Lamplighters Leagueis one of many roads to success in your hunt for treasure. Their abilities - from passive to active - can be the determination between evading discovery and certain death. So, why wouldn’t you want to invest a little into them?

Thankfully, once you get the hang of things, the process is an easy one. But there are a few caveats to this upgrade system you’ll want to keep your eye on. After all, those Skill Points don’t come cheap, and knowing how to invest is certainly in the repertoire of any secret agent worth their salt.

How To Upgrade Your Agents' Skills

Within the Agents tabat the Hideout, you’ll have the opportunity toupgrade the skills of agents.This will increase their damage outputs, give them new abilities, and increase their overall effectiveness out in the field.

To upgrade them, you’ll have toopen their Skill Treeandselect the skill you’d like to learn. Watch out, though; each skill willcost a certain number of Skill Points.

As you further your abilities on the Skill Tree, thecost of each tier of upgrades will increase.

Unfortunately, yourSkill Points are shared between all agents.While this means that you can give points to any agent, it also means that you’ll have to be careful who you upgrade and when.

Skill Points are a heavy commodity in the early game, so care should be taken in your investments.

How To Gain Skill Points

Skill points aregiven by completing missions.You can see how many Skill Points are awarded for a mission by looking at the task on the World Map.

These points aregiven to your team as a wholeand not individual agents. This means that who you send to a mission does not affect the Skill Points you gain or how you wish to distribute them.

You do not get Skill Points if you accept a mission and retreat during it.

At this point in time, it does not appear that you can respec the points of characters.All purchases are final, and no refunds will be handed out.
