Every dinosaur inPaleo Pineshas two skills: one that works out in the wild, and one that helps you on the farm, such as Waterer Dinosaurs being able to gather water in their mouths and spray it on crops. For the smaller dinosaurs, you can’t ride them due to their size, but they can still be extremely helpful on the farm and off.
Many small-sized Dinosaurs such as the Coelophysis get the Discoverer skill, and it can be a big help when looking for resources, but it isn’t as obvious how to use the skill unlike those available with rideable dinosaurs.

What Are Discoverer Dinosaurs?
Not only are dinos cute in Paleo Pines, but they can also be little sidekicks. A Discoverer Dinosaur’s main job out in the wild is tohelp you locate gatherable itemslikeDandelions, Cranberries, and Clover. Unlike other skills such as Smasher or Waterer, the Discoverer skill also worksmore passively.
How To Use Discoverer Dinosaurs
Tohave Discoverer Dinosaurs locate gatherables, you’ll need to have a Discoverer Dinosaurfollowing behind you while you’re out in the wilds.
Thefirst typeof Discoverer you’ll likely come across is thePsittacosaurus, which can be foundjust outside the entrance to Pebble Plaza.

When you getnear any gatherable,a Discoverer Dinosaur willget excited and begin to sparkle. They will oftenrun directly up to and stand next tothe gatherable item, waiting for you tocome near it.
Their skill can help withlocating newly respawned gatherables, as well as helping youlocate gatherables in new areasyou haven’t explored before or Dreamstones out in the wild.
