InThe Sims 4, housing can be expensive and starting funds for new families aren’t high. You may want to have a reasonable sized house for your Sim to live in, but not want to just cheat a million Simoleons into your account. This is where cheats come in.

The real estate cheat makes all home on the map free to purpose, allowing you to start a household with the starter funds acting as a buffer until you start making money. Here’s how to activate it.
How To Get Your Household Ready To Move
Assuming you want tomove in a new familyyou’ll need to either:
The first option allows you tocreate a family from scratch in Create-A-Sim, using random designs from the game or gallery to help. Once you accept the family you’ll go back to the map.
The second option lets youchoose from a family that exists already in your game, or a Maxis created on not in the world. You’ll need to selectMove Household Into Lotto get back to the map.
The third option allows you to find anddownload a family from the Gallery. From here you need to choosePlace Household(in the bottom right) to get back to the map.
Once on themap screen for your chosen worldwith your familyready to move,it’s time to cheat.
How To Enable Cheats On All Platforms
Before you can add a cheat code you need toenable cheats.To do thispress the following buttons at the same timeto enable the text box:
PlayStation 4
L1+ L2 + R1 + R2
Once the text box appears in the top left-hand cornertype in the following, as shown below:
Afterhitting enter, or confirm you should see a message saying “Cheats are enabled.”
This text box is where you now need toenter your cheat codein order to gainfree housing.
How To Use The Free Real Estate Cheat
Once on the correct map,bring up the cheats boxas outlined above,enable cheats,and then enter:
freerealestate on
Once you hit enter or confirm, you will be able to see if this has worked asall the vacant lots will have a green linearound them.
Your Sim can nowmove into any lot for free.If you change your mind on the world you want to live in you may stillnavigate through the mapsusing the globe iconwithout having to enter the cheat again.
If you want to start the game with a nice house and keep your $22k or so Simoleons for expenses then this is the cheat for you.
