Disneyturned 100 this month and it has been doing a lot of things to mark the occasion. Naturally, a number of those things have come in the form of celebratory merchandise Disney fans can buy to celebrate its birthday in style. Part of a growing Disney100 collection, Loungefly has been releasing platinum backpacks, Stitch, Simba, and of course Mickey Mouse making the cut so far. The next character getting the platinum backpack treatment will be Winnie The Pooh, and its design and release date has now been revealed.

If you’ve seen the other backpacks that have been given a platinum makeover to celebrate Disney’s anniversary then you might not be all that surprised by the design of the Winnie the Pooh addition from afar. The bag has been modeled to look like the iconic Disney character, his face and bottom half silver and his t-shirt in the middle a shiny red. It’s when you get a little closer and see the finer details of the backpack that you really see why it’s special.
The Disney100 collection also includesa set of mini Squishmallows that have also been given a platinum makeoverwhich is now available on Amazon.
Not only does the backpack have a couple of silver Pooh ears sticking out the top, but the zip on its front pocket has a bee charm on it to reflect the bear’s love of honey. There are also bees embroidered onto the backpack’s striking red straps, and on the back of the bag right there at the base is branding to show it has been created to celebrate 100 years of Disney. Also important to note that the leather used to make the backpack is vegan-friendly.
Disney100 Platinum Winnie the Pooh Mini Backpack
Loungefly’s Winnie the Pooh platinum backpack is part of a collection to celebrate 100 years of Disney. The bear has been given a shiny finish and its zip has a bee charm clipped to it. There are also bees embroidered onto the red straps.
Loungefly revealed the new backpack over the weekend, confirming it will be available to buy from July 20, 2025, at 12 p.m. EST. Suffice to say even with a $90 price tag, the backpack is probably going to sell out pretty quickly. Loungefly also reminded fans that not only is the Winnie the Pooh backpack the fourth in its Disney100 platinum collection so far, but that there is still one more bag left to reveal.
