Magic: The Gathering’sHasbro Pulse Con 2023 exclusive Secret Lair drops have been revealed, bringing with it not just another new series of Chibi Planeswalkers, but exclusive figures and a crossover with, of all things, Nerf.
Unlike normal Secret Lairs which can be found through theofficial site, these can only be preordered through the Pulse Con website. If last year’s drop is anything to go by, availability for these is going to be very brief.

The main drop this year is Lil’est Walkers, the third in a series of Chibi-themed Planeswalker cards. While the first was just a regular Secret Lair, last year’s Lil’er Walkers was the Pulse Con 2022 exclusive drop, offering up five cards in cute hyper-deformed art styles.

This year’s cohort of Planeswalker cards are all illustrated by Uta Natsume, and includes:
This is an incredible selection of Planeswalkers, with each of them either cards that are pricey to get a hold of or, in the case of Aminatou, the first time it’s been reprinted with new art, replacing the usual Seb McKinnon one.

Lil’est Walkers will cost £29.99 for a regular edition, and £39.99 for the foil.
Alongside the actual cards, we’re also getting a series of exclusive Lil’est Walker figured by Gatherer’s Tavern. These five figures all come with an approximately one-in-20 chance of being a super-rare golden version that, considering the figures are already only available through Pulse Con, will make them perhaps some of the rarest MTG collectibles outside of the cards themselves.
The figures will cost £149.99 for a pack of all five.
Finally, we’re getting a crossover with one of Hasbro’s other properties, Nerf. The Lightning Bolt Nerf Gun has three chambers for Nerf darts, representing the three damage Lightning Bolt deals in the game, and an exclusive lightning bolt pattern based on the original illustration by late Magic legend Christopher Rush.
The drop also comes with six Nerf darts, and two copies of Lightning Bolt with the same art. Card-wise this isn’t the most valuable drop ever made, but it is still a neat bit of memorabilia for both Magic and Nerf collectors. This will cost $39.99, and is not available in all regions.
All of these drops will be available shortly after the end of Pulse Con, at 4PM ET for Pulse Premium members, and 5PM ET for the rest of us. It’s only available while stocks last and, like other secret Lairs, they will not be produced again once the sale has ended. Hasbro Pulse only ships to Europe, North America, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Singapore.
